Sakura and Sarada stood before the gates of the leaf village. It was surrounded by a stasis field of some sort, to prevent anyone from getting in or leaving without the Hokage's consent. Sakura expression turned blank upon looking though the field, stomach turned a little, she didn't know if it was from feeling of nostalgia or the fear of facing her former friends and family, after she abandoned them. She hadn't been back to the village since the day she left for the war, she didn't even come back for the funerals of her comrade. What would they think upon seeing her, the world greatest medical ninja abandoned her own village when they needed her most. The world most power kunoichi vanished without a trace, and now she would show up, with her little surprise.
" Momma, it will be okay, all we need is supplies, and we'll be on our way." Sarada said, placing her hand on her mother's arm, in hopes of reassuring her. She could tell that she mother was having mixed feeling about entering the leaf.
Sakura sadden expression, softened, upon feeling the touch of her daughter. "Always thinking about my feeling's Sarada, you remind me of what he was..." Sakura though, as a smile graced her beauty face.
"So how do we enter momma? Do we knock?" Sarada asked, adjusting her glasses.
"We will slip in unnoticed, I don't want to draw attention to us. They will be on high alert, so a transformation jutsu wont work, no matter how flawless he do it. I'm assuming there is a password of sorts, the villagers go by." Sakura said, assessing the situation. "It's to risky for me to guess it, but given the current Hokage, my bet would be Nindo. But it's too risky." Sakura added.
" I see." Sarada replied. " So we force our way in, unnoticed. The barrier seems to be fuel by ration infused chakra. This takes a great amount of chakra, and fine chakra control to maintain. This village is great" Sarada said, smiling at bit.
"Tsunade sama, did design it after all. No doubt Shizune is responsible for this." Sakura thought before proceeding forward to the barrier. She began in infuse chakra around her finger, creating a chakra scalpel, then converted the scalpel into electricity. She ran her finger along the barrier, creating an opening for her and Sarada to enter.
"Come on Sarada, quickly. We have 30 seconds before they notice a tremor in the chakra field." Sakura said, motioning to her daughter to come, with her free hand.
" I see what you did", Sarada said as she ran through the opening, underneath trees and bushes, followed by her mother. " You combined, the body pathway derangement technique, with you chakra scalpel. Defusing the positive charge of the field, with a negative charge, while cutting through it. Momma your great." Sarada added, proud of her mother.
Sakura repaired the opening in the field, by combining her mystical palm jutsu, with body path way derangement. Effectively repairing the field, flawlessly.
"Lets go Sarada. Follow me, stay hidden and undetectable." Sakura said, as she caught a glimpse of the bench, that she knew too well.
The duo raced through the village, as blurs, undetected by the anbu. Only to stop when they reached the center of the village, on the roof of the tallest building, the Hokage Tower.
Sakura and Sarada flashed through the window of the Hokage's Tower, through the roof. It looked the same, but dim, only lit by the candles from a shrine dedicated to Naruto in the corner of the room. It made Sakura's heartbeat slowed down a little, upon seeing it.
"So it you. You've manage to sneak in, undetected. I can't say that I accepted any less from you." Said a voice, that sat in a chair, with it's back turned to Sakura and Sarada.
"I come here in peace, I just need a couple of supplys. I dont want any trouble." Sakura replied, coldly.
"After all these years, you decided to come back,with a child...It's it hi-" The voice trailed off.
"She is none of your concern!" Sakura snapped.
"Momma what does she mean?" Sarada asked. "How did she see us, with her back turned to us."
"Didn't she teach you about anything, dear?" The voice asked, slowly turning around. " I am a member of the Hyuuga Clan. Hinata Hyuuga. The 6th Hokage." The voice added, revealing her self to the two. She had long dark hair, dressed in a black wedding like dress, with a black veil adorned over her head. She lift the veil, to reval a pair of glowing translucent eyes. "My byakugan see's all."
"The supplys. I'll pay" Sakura demanded.
"Sakura. You were a hero to the leaf. Your money means nothing to us. Ofcourse, you will be granted the supply's you need. " Hinata said, blankly. "However. We do require your services. In return for the supplys you will help our medical staff." Hinata added.
"I gave that up long ago..." Sakura said blankly.
"You owe that much to your village. If not them, to him!" Hinata snapped, pointing to the shrine of Naruto. Sakura eyes didn't look over there. Tear began to feel her eyes, but she refused to cry.
"Can't even look at the picture. Can you." Hinata added.
"Who do you think you are? I dont care if you are the Hokage or not, you will not talk to her like that. She doesn't owe you anything? " Sarada said clenching her fist, looking Hinata directly in the eye, glaring.
Sakura put her hand in front of Sarada to keep her from doing something rash.
"Thank God, she is like you. But those eyes...no mistaken, just like..." Hinata beganed before Sakura interrupted.
" Deal." Sakura responded. And began to walk away. Sarada followed.
"Very well, I'm sure everyone will be thrilled to see you." Hinata said, as she sat back in her chair. " Stay a while, I'm just your daughter would love to visit the academy. My Boruto goes there, He is quite the prodigy. He is just like his father."
When Hinata said those words, Sakura eyes widened.
"So, you did it hun." Sakura replied blankly.
"It had to be done, he needed another him." Hinata said. " But all of the credit isn't all mine, you made it all possible.
Hinata said before Sakura and Sarada completely vanished from the room.
" So long as there are he and his kind lives, we need someone like him." Hinata clenching her locket, to reveal a picture of naruto, then another picture of Boruto on the other slide, who appeared to be the spiting image of his Naruto, with a lavender tint to his eyes.
(WOW this is too much, Hinata the Hokage? Hinata is becoming more like her dad in this verse, I kinda like this Hinata. How did she have Boruto...Naruto's dead.....What did her and Sakura do? Part 2 coming soon, I would really like feedback guys lol.)
