Sorry if I confused you. Did you see the sentence directly following that one? I guess I was unclear but the first time Naruto said "her" he meant Hinata. The second "her" was directed to Sakura and the he in the middle was directed at Kiba. Hinata wasnt picked twice. Sorry for the grammar mishap.
And thank you! Yes isnt Naruto silly? The only one we know to have scared Ibiki is Orochimaru, and that was only because Ibiki was a kid back then. Hahaha.

First read through I actually thought that Hinata was chosen by just pointing. I read it like Naruto chose her next on terms of Narrative making the squad Naruto, Sasuke, Hinata, and Kiba.

Second read through I noticed Hinata was grammatically chosen twice, but assumed you meant to put Sakura's name for Kiba's.


He is indeed. Ibiki is a boss... Alongside Hayate and Genma.

Hey! Finally got around to reading. Hmmmmm....I felt like a Naruhina fanboy when I read the calming effect part XD Sakura slapping Sasuke, that was rather bold lol. I enjoy reading this
