the only argmnet is that naruto didn't need bunta while madara did need kurama. Naruto was clearly out matched and was put on the brink of death so kurama had to take over. I don't see that as naruto being on the level of sasuke at that point. So the argument he didn't need bunta is only because he was already saved.

If anything sasuke has to prove he's on Naruto's level since he chopped down the god tree in 1 move and flattened madara. He also had those truth seeking orbs which shit on almost everything in the manga, feat wise Naruto is way ahead of sasuke until he shows some feats.

People say Madara w/ Kurama assist is below Hashirama, because without it he would have lost. And with it, he still lost. So it's only natural.

People say Naruto PTS was stronger than Sasuke because they tied, and Naruto let his pride get the best of him on his last hit, and scratched his headband. Sasuke barely won, and Naruto still opted not to use Gamabunta.
