yeah at that time naruto couldn't defeat him. He only had sage mode and sasuke already had susano'o amaterasu and tsukiyomi.

Naruto is now way way stronger... If he completes his Tailed-Beast Ball training and his control training he will pwn Sasuke easily. His speed is immense... If Garaa's sand without the Ichibi's powers can stop amaterasu, then the cloak from his new mode definitely can (even with the new EMS upgrade), and if boil can break Susanoo, then Tailed-Beast Ball definitely can, and if Tsukuyomi is still inferior to Itachi's, Naruto could avoid eye contact with his speed, or maybe he can get the Nine-Tails to disturb his chakra... Naruto has definitely surpassed Sasuke now...

well i cant deny what he said. but doesnt really make any sense, sasuke was pretty much out of chakra. realistically could he have summoned susano or even amaterasu at that state? naruto is a carebear he says he cant let anyone face sasuke cause he knows if its not a 1v1 they will just get in his way and die. he also says he knew what sasuke was thinking and that they would have both died. says he is not trying to protect him but really... everyone here could agree that thats exactly what he was thinking and what he will do when they actually fight.

im curious to know what itachis gift was. my Theory is that he just realease chakra on him "Hint Hint" so when sasuke/naruto fight itachi will come out and have a really emo moment...

idont know sasuke is stronger with the ems and has a new technique besides amertasu and the genjutsu and susuano. who know what if he gained space time techniques like madara.
what if madara is training him right now. and naruto is training aswell it will be a great battle
