Naruto dosen't have a base mode

Sasuke and Naruto both receive Ridikou chakra form Hagoromo. Sasuke receive power for his eyes and Naruto for the body, the only difference is Sasuke upgrade can be seen through his rinnengan and Naruto's can't been seen through his body..

Naruto so called 'base mode' still has half of Rikuudo chakra flowing through it at all times, just like Sasuke, it's not something you can turn off. Naruto can just add different modes in with his Rikuudo chakra because of the different modes he attained.

Naruto can not deactivate Rikudou's chakra so he has no base mode.

OT; Well your half right, while Naruto was enhanced by Rikudou, he still has a Base Mode. Sasuke doesn't have "forms" to activate to increase himself, Naruto does. Naruto has transformations and uses the Kyuubi's power to improve his physical capabilities. Therefore Naruto does have a base, even if it is Rikuou enhanced or not.

Reason why Sasuke doesn't have a base is because he constantly has his Rinnegan activated, his strongest Dojutsu. Sasuke doesn't upgrade his power, he loses it by using his S/T which temporarily deactivates his EMS over a period of time. Without using that S/T there's no possible way for Sasuke to decrease or to increase his power unless he takes in Bijuu Chakra in the same method in VoTe2.

Meanwhile Sasuke doesn't have the option of "default," he's always at it's peak unless he uses
S/T. There's nothing else for him to toggle through, thus has no base.

Think of it like like switches, there's an "On" and there's an "Off"
if there isn't both, there isn't anything to switch through.

It makes sense.. I guess my question is since Sasuke doesn't have any modes to enhance his body, then his Rinnengan mode should be his base since he has nothing to go beyond that, not the other way around...
Unless When Sasuke deactivate his sharingan that would be counted as base?? It would not make a difference because his body doesn't get stronger with rinnengan activated or not..

If Sasuke can bust meteors without using any of his Sharingan/Rinnegan abilities, and if Naruto can use FRS without Sage Mode or Bijuu Chakra Mode, then yes, it is base. Base power is relative, not static. It's like leveling up.

Agreed. It's just makes sense to me if Naruto lowest form is considered His base that just so happens to be Sasuke highest form, which is not considered his base.. Either they're both base or both not base.
