Everybody knows this, but this does not discredit that Naruto did what no one else could and that was to bring people together without eliciting pain and fear. This is my assertion, so let's not dumb down the argument to mere quibbling. That's pure desperation.

So are you here for the sake of quibbling because I was well aware of what he meant and I agreed, but I also felt I should've clarified myself because I didn't properly express myself. Telling me to "get over it" is juvenile because I already agreed that Madara united the shinobi world, but that wasn't what I was arguing for in Naruto's defense to begin with.

And by the way, you did not dumb down anything. You said exactly what the user had said in a verbose manner. You didn't really accomplish anything in the grand scheme of things.

It's not a technicality. Madara's goal wasn't to reunite everyone under the pretense of them to finding a common enemy and defeating him.

Even when war was declared and the kages established a united front there was bad blood over past wars and conflicts. This was even among the kages who had their disagreements.

Gaara, Naruto, Hashirama, and Ino played a vital role in uniting the Shinobi world as did Madara. But the difference is Madara gave them a reason where as the former actually united them.

You're forgetting Naruto Uzuamki was already well on his way of uniting villages and people regardless of Madara.

In no way is this a small enough detail to be considered a, "technicality".
