Even if Kawaki may have killed him, or destroyed the village or etc.

We see that he states that the age of ninja is over & boruto instead of shutting down that statement he turns to an alternative fact that he's still a ninja regardless which means he agrees it may very well be over. why? we dont know yet. might be deeper than just an attack. well it will be or else cmon

so point is Naruto didnt fail because for the remainder of the age of ninja he brought and maintained peace. tides turn and a new age is born that isnt his prophesized responsibility.

for a better understanding, naruto brought peace for about

4th ninja war -> the last 2 years later -> boruto about 13 years later -> kawaki vs boruto 2 or 3 years later

about 16 or 17 years.

not too shabby.

Naruto didn't fail at all. Don't listen to the plebs saying otherwise.

As things stand, Kawaki isn't Ninja related especially seeing he has a tattoo like Boruto which is otsutsuki related. Not part of the Shinobi system.
Yes the village is destroyed but we still don't know the circumstances and the people are more important than the village itself. They are what make the village a village and in the above pic, I don't see any bodies laying around.

Naruto technically didn't fail because he did what no other shinobi could do; unite the shinobi world as one even if it may cease momentarily. Even if Kawaki prevailed, people will still reminisce on the philosophy that Naruto has imparted on the shinobi world and still covet mutual understanding with others.

Kawaki may not be a ninja nor from a ninja village but he has a grudge against Ninja. We don't know why. It could be about the messed up Shinobi system of the past and even the current system. But what is clear is that Naruto failed to protect Konoha from being destroyed - atleast a part of it.

he actually did

sasuke had the same idea in mind but failed miserably.

He didn't fail considering he didn't actually execute his plan. If he actually executed it and failed then you would be right.

Absolutely no point in bringing up Sasuke.

Also don't say Sasuke's plan for peace failed if he didn't even get the chance to implement it.

I feel like the Hidden Leaf was destroyed prior to their fight, and that it's sort of like the Valley Of The End for Naruto and Sasuke. Whoever, or whatever destroyed Konoha, also destroyed the shinobi world. Kudo's to them.

That is the tradition of NB, speculating, making a theory of possibility, bring their opinions on the table and act like it's fact, And all before the author final words.

The best part is they are getting proven wrong later on xd

Madara didn't unite them. Gaara, Hashirama, Ino and Naruto did.

They were still ready to get into each other's ass over old bloodshed even when they were under the shinobi alliance.

Madara united the Shinobi.

Naruto invoked both peace and solidarity simultaneously whereas Madara needed to thrust the world into fear and darkness to elicit a similar response. Naruto still accomplished something that is unprecedented and succeeded in what his predecessors could not accomplish. This is largely why Jiraiya chastised Pain for his impudence because while Pain could cease war, he could not accomplish this without pain as well. Naruto eliminated that completely and brought people together through moral autonomy rather than coercion.

The Gokage were explicitly shown to be united instead of designating meetings like what was shown with the Kage Summit. They clearly acted upon solidarity rather than coming together under duress.

Do you think it would've brought peace? Sasuke's intentions were no different than Peins. If anything, it would've only brought a never ending revolution against two parties, Sasuke being the tyrant & SA being the opposition. In fact, those ideals were the very reason that brought fourth the previous war to begin with.

But Naruto has succeed by making an alliance with Indra's incarnation (Sasuke) & united the Shinobi world by having the Gokages trusts. He rebuilt & reclaimed the trust of the people that was lost for centuries by connecting them to his past. Of course, Gaara's opening speech had a huge impact as well.

Doesn't matter how he did it. It was stated that Naruto was the only one who did so, which is entirely false. In the end it comes down to; did Madara actions cause the shinobi world & 5 great nations to unite? Yes.

I agree.

Plus I don't necessarily see the Village being destroyed as = to peace being ruined.

The Village can always be rebuilt
