Thats very rude.Dunno why translators are bashed so much.The other day there was another argument between ch1p and OD on NF with bashing too.I am pretty sure she doesnt use SITE translators as I had once asked her the translation of a poster myself and she had come up with a decent translation herself in a short time.Perhaps OD is more experienced in this being the chief translator on reddIt but that doesnt mean you crap on others for attempting.

Thanks for backing me up. I just find it really rude when ppl start bashing other translators who put all their effort into it.

i saw you posting on NF. don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to corner you but it sound like you were taking their side
if you think my translations aren't accurate enough anymore bc of what NF said, thats fine by me. just know that i put a lot of effort into doing this for you. whenever ppl ask me to translate, i normally don't do it bc of their rudeness. but when you asked me, you sounded very genuine to know what these said, which is the reason why i did it for you

No I was not taking their side. I was merely expressing an apology on both of our parts because they were not satisifed with the translation. I don't know anything about this, so I kept my post short and sweet. Though, what-ever they said has not made me feel any sort of way for the translations. I am happy and content with yours, and I still will be asking you for help when the time comes lol.

I just did not feel like arguing with someone from NF. Those people can be a it touchy.

When did I ever say I was right and ODs translations are wrong!

The point is that they are so different, it's not just an issue of wording. It's the dictionary definitions of the words themselves.

Why do you care?

Did you not just read what i quoted from OD? She points out obvious errors in basic titles, and re-translate a whole paragraph where you left out words.

She gave proof that your translation was incorrect in multiple places. Seelentau agrees that it's so inaccurate, they want to reject it from the collection thread. I called you out in another thread for mistranslating already.

Okay so why do you care?Its a mistranslation.So?You use words like "blacklist" and "not fluent enough" Given the possible constraints she did the best she could.That does not give you the right to lord over her

But hey, you're the one who is throwing personal insults at me, while I'm pointing out objective problems with just your translations.

Its pretty much a given that anyone can see you are the most flustered one and the aggressive one in this thread
Damn if this is the shitstorm a mistranslation causes,I should do it myself some time
