it is in fact unfair comparison because it's like comparing 2 things that are in different dimensions...dbz is whole another dimension where are different rules and powers.dudes just fly there with speed of light
there is no way that in naruto someone can swig same speed that goku flays...
I hate to say this but DBZ would win this one hands down because even if we arent including DBGT into this you still have to worry about SSJ3 Gotanks with his Super Ghost Kamikaze technique, SSJ Gogeta or SSJ Vegeto with their uber powerful techniques, Mystic Gohan (enough said), Piccolo being very pissed off, Vegeta and his Final Flash, SSJ3 Goku with his Kamehameha wave, the fact that blades wont do anything to them so that throw kunais out of the question. They move too fast for the Sharingan to track I mean everything is against the Naruto characters all the main characters have to do is fire their ultimate technique once and they could destroy the planet :/

i know this topic is probably old as hell but i still gotta post since my lil brother asked me this same question like to days ago. i LOVE naruto but there's no way they could take dbz. there speed and stranght alone is to much. one punch from someome like teen gohan or ssj2 gohan would do in anybody in naruto. then there's peeps like buu and cell who can very easily regenarate and they can fly. if say itachi was LUCKY enough to catch one in a genjutsu then maybe.

This shouldn't even have to be thought about DBZ would win no doubt... Let me put it like this... imagine Sage Mode... then imagine having that power forever... then imagine that power in every character (the ones that fight) in that show... that's basically weaker then DBZ people... and they can fly... I mean Gohan broke the legendary unbreakable sword by ACCIDENT. Plus he wasn't even in ultimate gohan form or any supersayain form... DBZ ftw
also think about this... Frieza claimed to have destroyed thousands of planets. And he wasn't lying. Frieza was feared because he destroyed/conquered so many planets. So that's already stronger then naruto people. But now Frieza is one of the weakest people because so much time has passed since his death and he was able to destroy complete planets and rarely even used his final form back then?... Need i say more? And they train way harder than naruto people... Years worth of training in one day is a daily basis for them...
