Naruto can't defeat tobi unless Sasuke joins.

Naruto is Sasuke prey(kinda) and tobi is gonna get the chance to fight him first.

incomplete control over kyuubi chakra

Killer bee: weaker than kisame(I believe)
Samehada

Very good jinchuriki
Tobi:
Rinnegan-all elements,shinra tensei etc.
Sharingan-atleast MS(required for kyuubi control which he did)
Six paths-former jinx and all having rinnegan and sharingan.
IMO Naruto and bee can't handle tobi and his paths.and failure means death(extraction of bizzu)
So,Sasuke would have to butt in and say something like:"get lost,...he is mine!!"would be cool.
