You do realize that, in the way that you wrote your sentence, it seems that you are trying to say that Nagato was toying with him. In your initial statement you didn't add the rest of what Nagato said. You were arguing in favor of Nagato weren't you?

I'm saying Nagato could have easily defeated Naruto if not for plot and even in the end, wasn't truly defeated. Not saying anything else than that

I don't really see the point of blaming the plot. Naruto has Kurama, that's just a fact. It's not like Naruto went 8 tails without leading up to it. They had been saying his seal was getting weak during the entire second part. Nagato was looking to capture Naruto, that was his downfall. If it wasn't for the "plot" they wouldn't have fought in the first place.

Everything about Naruto is plot. Nagato wanting to capture all of the tailed beasts is plot. Nagato gaining Rinnegan is plot. One could argue that if the plot didn't give Nagato Rinnegan then he would be fodder, but you know what? He did. Everything in Naruto is plot. When you read a fictional work like this, you're supposed to see it as another world; a real thing happening. What is the point of blaming everything you don't like on plot? I don't like everything that happens in this series or any other fictional story I have read or seen, but I accept it as what happened.

Just as I can easily bring the fight between Nagato vs KM Naruto&Bee where both got owned pretty easily, they were saved by Itachi.

You know I've only been saying that Nagato was stronger than Naruto, and that it was the plot that made Kyubi interact. Never said Nagato was > Kyubi

and when i said he was testin d 9tails power, he surely is(am not sayin pain is stronger than or on par wit kurama) bt most probably nagato's plan was to seal 9tails.

pain might not b as strong as kurama bt he can still test d power of d 9tails, 4 example, d 5kages and edo madara, edo madara is basically owning them bt stil they pushed him to use his powerful jutsu i.e perfect susanoo.
