It's his first time in a war, you expect to lose people in war but you don't actually think it's going to happen. and in his latest speech he said he would hope nobody would break their bonds with him, he didn't state "oMG SASUKE IS MI BFFLS 4EVER" he just simply stated that he wouldn't ever willingly cut off any bonds with anyone he cares for and that he hopes nobody would leave him hanging. what's immature about hoping that nobody would stop being your friend? i would hope that nobody stops being my friend.

Doesn't matter, my point is this is not the first time naruto failed on his promises. He said he would bring Sasuke back to Sakura, and he failed it a dozen times. He failed to protect Neji, his hard work over talent is also proven wrong because Naruto is distantly related to the Senju, he is the son of the 4th Hokage and even has Kurama inside him... To top all of this he is also the prophecy child! So much for this bull...
