even have half of Naruto's anime budget yet produce better anime.

I never watched the Naruto anime, so I can't judge, but imo, drawings will always be better than animations. Not because they are doing a bad job, but the animations itself annoy me.

Japanese anime for younger people to adult has alway ben different from The U.S.A. and other Western animation. Speed Racer,Giagantor and Astroboy in the 1960. Western animation strives for realism as close to life in movement and form. Japanese still goes for the old style of cartoon animation from the early days of film making. It's what sells in Japan and it won't change unless the Japanese audience demands it to change.

Agreed, but this is more of a garbage art style problem than it is an animation problem. Studio Pierrot is one of the laziest animation studios and they are most definitely smoking something.

Granted they could have fixed up the chin a little better for the anime but the budget is tight and its tight for a good reason so that it won't end up like other anime's like bleach and fairy tail and so that it can produce and pay for good animation when its really needed like for big fight scenes

How are they lazy when they're like one of the few big animes actually continuing the budget is tight

I know...Chunin exams and Sasuke retrieval arc episodes were way better...And it was years ago.
