Naruto and the fox chakra

Ok so i'm new here so bare with me and sorry if this is the wrong place to post this
So i was thinking this ages ago and thought i'd make a thread about it xd
The explanation may be dogey so I apologise.

So, towards the end of the 'Naruto' series Naruto learnt how to use some of the nine-tails' chakra when he ran out of his own. When he did use this chakra he remained self control but just got a lot stronger, e.g. Naruto - Neji fight ; Naruto - Sasuke final fight

But then when the 'Shippuden' series starts, when Naruto runs out of chakra he immediately starts forming the orange cloak around him, and he can't use any of the chakra freely while remaining self control, e.g When training to use the Fuuton:RasenShuriken.

I just don't understand how he lost a power that he gained when he was 2 and a half - 3 years younger than he is now?

Sorry if that doesn't make any sense, It all made sense in my head though xd

no in shippuden he does not start using it when he runs out of chakra.. its when he loses his temper that he gets the cloak and starts fighting with it. because also during the naruto neji fight that is the first time he experiences it where the fox actually offers it to him and thats when it becomes something he can use. after that point the fox had access to naruto so that once naruto got pissed off he would either let it loose or in the early years just have the fox offer it up. later once the kyuubi realized naruto would keep needing it, it would be fueled by narutos emotions more. it kind of shifts from necessity based to emotion based.
but yea in shippuden if you notice like when he was facing orochimaru initially it formed because he was talking about sasuke. so on and so forth it always starts to form based on emotion, not lack of his own chakra.

and based on your amount of information and basis i assume you dont read the manga do you?

But when he trains with wind chakra he keeps starting to form it due to low chakra and not anger?

you mean when he is with yamato and kakashi? well i believe it can still be that but in fights its always out of anger. in that instance it seems like it would be the kyuubi pretty much feeding him chakra would it not?

I understand how in fights he uses it due to anger, I just don't understand why he can't access the chakra the same way he did when he was younger, now when he uses it he can't control it.
And yeah I do read the manga, but i'm basing this pretty much up to the wind chakra training, not where he is now and can freely control it.

well why would you do that..? i mean what is even the point haha. its just that he started to lose control because the first couple times the fox is feeding it to him to show him the power i guess.

its all to do with the seal. the seal was getting weaker, and the weaker naruto is, the easier the nine tails can take control. which is why yamato was there in case the nine tails comes loose. does dat make sense?

u mean when he pulled out fox chakra without tails like he did against gaara? i belive he can still do that. just not shown anymore in the manga. and jiraiya said the 4th's seal is weakening. that may have something to do with what your looking for here.

well you see he was scared to use it because he didnt know for sure he could get it under control. he didnt want to hurt any of his friends yamato also told him use his own power instead of using the foxs ur strong enough with your own its probz reason why
