Cycle ain't broken have sarada and Sakura killed watch sasuke lose it
True.
Naruto sure didn't seem to understand that one when launching his final attacks. He had no idea whether he would destroy Sasuke's eye or not in that final bout.
At least Sasuke knew that he had the Bijuu on lock if Naruto was killed. Haha
Sasuke is not Indra. Sasuke being angry about something personal will not lead to his spirit transcending death to inhabit a new host to carry out his subconscious wishes.
What is the next transmigrant going to do? Be mad that 80 years ago Sarada died? Ok. Now what?
IMO it also wasn't needed because even if we accept the words of the author and agree that Sasuke's idea of maintaining peace was wrong, and then he agreed to follow Naruto's idea, which is ... what, exactly? I don't quite understand what is Naruto's idea of peace. He basically just wants to keep things as they were, thus accepting the inevitability of the upcoming wars, conflicts, pain and basically the continuation of the cycle of hatred. I find it very unrealistic and hard to believe that everyone in NV just suddenly decided like 'YAY, LET'S ALL LIVE PEACEFULLY AND HAVE MASS ORGIES EVERY NOW AND THEN CUZ NARUTO IS THE HOKAGE AT LAST!!". Long story short, Sasuke wanted to change the corrupted system, while Naruto decided to leave it as it is, but suddenly we see that the world has changed... just because. It's one of my main disappointments in this manga.
You miss the point then, true peace can't be forced through some self imposed system, that would cause more hate, anger, suffering and oppression. It has to come gradually through everyone accepting one another, Naruto knew that. When you're justly angry at someone, you are exercising a free will you've been privileged to have to be angry at them, so would someone coming along and taking that right from you make you any happier with that person? Of course there will always be problems, and disagreements between mankind, in the World of Naruto even before chakra, ninjutsu, bijuu there was fighting and wars.
History has even proven in the real world with power hungry dictators instilling their own, twisted false system of fear and intimidation causing oppression and suffering, never really eradicated hatred or introduced peace. It was just suffocation.
Naruto's way to peace is the theme of the manga, cooperation. Pratically all the 5 nations came together and realized how valuable they were as one unit rather than separate, plus after the war, no one is trying fight anymore which is understandable after a genocidal war that nearly wiped the planet.
The fact that they started cooperating together, something which not a single generation of reincarnations before them were able to do, is the sole proof that the cycle ended. The rest is more or less irrelevant.
