In the last manga, Itachi activated his right MS first, for amaterasu. Then the following event showed his left eye activate for Tsukiyomi. Itachi wasn't worried when this involuntary action occurred but was more interested. No such event I observed showed Naruto actually being caught with genjustu yet although this is just speculation. The next manga could depict a genjustu taking effect, but it does also however suggests the activation of Itachi's shared power via his crow. The power's via Itachi's genjustu will activate a preventative counter measure or a genjustu in which Itachi converses with Naruto to explain the power he has been given. If Sasuke were capable of just using genjustu and ending things, why did he react to his questions to Naruto as such and he clearly is intent on entrusting Sasuke to him?
Soemthing else occured to me when reading this,
whats ur idea about madara's opponet? If naruto cant handle sasuke, whats the whole point of the minato giving the fox to naruto to fight madara? And what of that jutsu he left behind for naruto to complete to use against madara.
At this point of the story, I dont see sasuke much plot direction to go with. There's too much on the line on naruto to simply need help to defeat sasuke. And Madara has ems and senju dna + rinnegan + bjuu.
I cant see sasuke giving naruto too much of a hard time since he still needs to fight madara. And Madara is far ahead of sasuke.
I have to agree with the points made here. The fact is that Itachi intrusted his will and power to Naruto. That alone should be proof to Sasuke that his intent on vengeance toward the leaf and Naruto's will was acknowledged by Itachi. Sasuke's vengeance and revenge for Itachi would no longer be vindicated under his self proclaimed banner of a true avenger, but of one satisfying his own hatred and lust for power.
That said, Naruto with his 9tf and Itachi's shared will, is confident Sasuke cannot (or rather will not) kill him. He is certain in his power to withstand Sasuke's hatred and Madara being the one in his sights as his true opponent.
The power of the 9tf is a force capable of overwhelming the power of all the other bijus combined. This is made clear when Nagato stated the kyubi had to be sealed last in the statue to balance the power keeping the statue from being destroyed.
However, further speculation leaves me to think Sasuke EMS w/ Itachi's eyes can only be fought by Naruto (with the power coming from the same eyes), or Madara's EMS which has yet to be seen. In Madara's case, his EMS could be something only another EMS user could combat. Naruto's power shared by Itachi was given at a point when Itachi's eyes were only MS which could have its limits (specific to dealing w/ sasuke EMS) against a different eye and also possessing EMS.
That could be the warning the fox meant, referring to dealing with Madara in possession of the fox if Naruto were to be killed and his seal broken.
