I'm sure many people have noticed the similarities between Kingdom Hearts and Naruto, but I've never really seen anyone compare them in a thread.


Sora=Naruto


Both talk about power of friendship

Both are "benevolent" in the sense that they are incorruptible

Both are "chosen"

Both like to TNJ

Started out as best friends of Sora/Naruto, ran away, became rivals, teamed up against main villain.

Use power of "darkness"

Blindfold

Bangs over eyes

Both were manipulated by Villains

Riku: "I had given in to the darkness."

Both had warped reasoning

Both were puppets in the end

Both gained a final form which included a white robe

Both had Limbo/Clones in the final form

Both behind everything

Both trying to revive something by colllecting.(Chakra/Light and Darkness) to obtain (Kingdom Hearts/Kaguya)

Both are humorous and not imposing like the other members.

Yeah, Kishi has a habit of using standard character themes.

Standard hero, standard rival, standard villain, standard mentor figure, etc.
