First off I didn't delete my quote.
Secondly how do I contradict myself explain.

Far fetched even when we have seen what Madara has done with his Susanoo, it being two headed and able to use PS. He also said that they have to be clansmen to work along with his not always gaining power statement. You seem to be ignoring some of the page and putting stuff out of context to hold onto your initial opinion.

He even initially stated that it is obvious that the exchange could only be dont between clansmen.

All the uchiha were aware that the exchange had do be done within the clan from patterning Madara and Izuna. Itachi was only emphasizing on this for Sasuke's sake (lack of knowledge).

Why would they replace their sharingan with some random eyes? It's never been stated anyway...neither was the implication ever given.

When you think about it it's not that far-fetched. They're a clan that loves power and will clearly stop at nothing to get it. I can believe that once they saw Madara and Izuna with MS, and Madara with EMS, that they would try everything to get it. They had to create Izanami to stop themselves from over-using Izanagi.

Your theory has no foundation. There was never an implication of uchiha's using random eyes as a means to get EMS.

Itachi even stated that it was obvious that the exchange would only work between clans men.

What makes you think that Izanagi was created after Madara had MS? As far as we know it was much older and the Uchiha could have been killing each other for the eyes for centuries. All we can be certain is that Madara and his brother weren't the first ones to have MS, the very first Uchiha had to have EMS if not Rinnegan. So all this cycle of death inside the clan could be as old as the Elder Son.




I don't want to sound like a hater but..... what does Itachi know about that? What Tobi told him? All the lies he was fed? Itachi knows very little of the truth about Madara and the EMS.

The way I see it not even Itachi believed on that, he only told that to Sasuke to further legitimate his farce and quest for power to be sure Sasuke would kill him and return to Konoha as a hero.

I thought this was common knowledge. And I don't agree with the EMS part. We have yet to see Sasuke use his eyes to his fullest since he was heavily restricted in the Kabuto fight and he only faced the Zetsu scrubs to test how much his MS powers had increased.

Please clarify the restrictions Sasuke faced in that fight
