provide a link.. "They are equal" means they are equal.. whether past or future or present.

But go ahead provide me a link to the interview. Which you and many others believe exists.

Calm down people, you all forget that the only sample we had so far on EMS Madara was from an haxxed Madara who was not only an Edo (=non ending chakra) but had also been brutally boosted by Hashirama's cells! Not to mention that you do need Senju/Uzumaki DNA to unlock Rinnegan.

Sasuke does not have any of this, he's not an Edo and he doesn't have Hashirama's DNA. Expecting that his power will be on pair with that displayed by Madara is purely wishful thinking. If Sasuke would try to pull out a 1/10 of what Madara showed he would die on his own from chakra depletion.

EMS might give an edge to Sasuke and surely it makes his MS powers more reliable but it's not realistic to think that EMS alone will grant Sasuke a chance against current Naruto.

But Haxxed madara...is madara?

I doubt. He wouldn't die from depletion. So far, EMS has significantly reduced the Chakra consumption of Amaterasu and susano'o. Also it has advanced sasuke Genjutsu somewhat.

Well EMS granted Madara the chance against Hashirama...the fight was High diff no doubt. Why not the same for Sasuke and naruto?

What is he reffering to? His abilities using ems (perfect susano'o ect).

For example, Sasuke.

Sasuke gained another's eyes (itachi) but that doesn't equate to the power madara wields with his EMS.

Itachi also referring to the potential to unlock (gave birth to) the Rinnegan (new doujutsu).

When he said that gaining another's eyes did not equate to power, he meant that taking a random non-sharingan or non-MS eye. It has been implied that EMS grants another power. We have yet to see exactly what this is, although some speculate that it is PS. It also is another step closer to the Rinnegan.

Hashirama's chakra levels might be godly but I honestly don't think it's fair to compare them with Kurama's.
Not to mention that we have been hyping Hashirama based on what Madara did in the War arch but he was pretty less powerful when he fought Hashirama. Which means that Hashirama has been hyped as hell too...

We're talking of a fight against the holly King of Chakra Naruto.

Another thing to clear up is ALL EMS DOES IS THAT IT DOSEN'T MAKE YOU BLIND! That's it nothing else (Currently). Many NB members will say "We haven't seen his true powers with EMS". What true powers? That he can spam MS techs with out going blind that's about it!

Far fetched even when we have seen what Madara has done with his Susanoo, it being two headed and able to use PS. He also said that they have to be clansmen to work along with his not always gaining power statement. You seem to be ignoring some of the page and putting stuff out of context to hold onto your initial opinion.

When you think about it it's not that far-fetched. They're a clan that loves power and will clearly stop at nothing to get it. I can believe that once they saw Madara and Izuna with MS, and Madara with EMS, that they would try everything to get it. They had to create Izanami to stop themselves from over-using Izanagi.

What makes you think that Izanagi was created after Madara had MS? As far as we know it was much older and the Uchiha could have been killing each other for the eyes for centuries. All we can be certain is that Madara and his brother weren't the first ones to have MS, the very first Uchiha had to have EMS if not Rinnegan. So all this cycle of death inside the clan could be as old as the Elder Son.

I don't want to sound like a hater but..... what does Itachi know about that? What Tobi told him? All the lies he was fed? Itachi knows very little of the truth about Madara and the EMS.

The way I see it not even Itachi believed on that, he only told that to Sasuke to further legitimate his farce and quest for power to be sure Sasuke would kill him and return to Konoha as a hero.
