Those are Madara’s TSB on his cloak but as you see, that’s the bullshit I was referring to. They don’t erase on impact, I mean hell they didn’t even fly through him nor his cloak. Hakai is totally different.

I dunno. If they didn't erase, literally anything could have stopped the balls or changed their trajectory at least. They erase on impact, so it could be that they don't simply erase on contact? Like. They'd erase what they hit with force, but if a ball is on the ground, it won't keep sinking and sinking.

But if you take into account what Kakashi said about Kaguya’s giant one, then they should keep going through the ground, right? They allegedly erase everything they come into contact with.

Kaguya's one was expanding. I think the orbs are moved rather than by bursts of force and that Minato getting out of the range made it go back at rest. There's proof for the orbs at rest not erasing what they contact without force.

The Truth Seeker Balls and the black rods are different. The black rods are made from wood release, I believe. Nagato And pre-war Obito was able to make them (stabbed Konan with one). The Truth Seeker orbs are produced by utilizing Yin-Yang release; but That’s besides the point. Although it is true that Madara’s TSBs do have a limited range, the hype behind them don’t add up. You have to consider how fast Might Guy was charging and how fast the TSBs were going. There’s no way that the balls would’ve immediately went to rest after making contact with Minato regardless of if they’re out of range or not. They didn’t even go through his cloak, Kishimoto simply ass-pulled there but it happened nonetheless. I’m pretty sure that if Hakai is started but the process is stopped half way through, the erased part is never returning unless one is immortal. Which is why the TSB won’t work against Zamasu.
