Agreed, Naruto has always needed a bijuu to compete with sasuke in terms of power, but it goes a long with the whole "work together" theme. It's possible that he could be as strong without Kurama, but that's not the path the author wanted to take so woop. I'll give it to Naruto that he was most likely stronger than Sasuke pre-sage power up, but when sasuke unlocks his PS then he will be as strong as BSM naruto.

Remember Naruto, unlike Sasuke, never received training or knowledge from his clan to tech him how to use his power. Also the 9 tails holds Naruto back because it makes it harder for Naruto to control his chakra. This might be the 1st time in the entire manga that Naruto is able to use his full power.

Its true actuly, Every Drop of Chakra originally belong to Jubbi, Every single one shinobi in NV has borrowed power from Jubbi so No one should complain about it

Its two complete different life styles but represent the same meaning but maintains a wide range of different opinions and feelings.

naruto worked hard, his confidence goes up with the support of his friends which helps him push further, he trained for sage mode then the same to gain control over kurama. He started believing in himself and fought further and further.

Sasuke trained hard whilst with orochimaru, he never thought about others because he believed in his own strength. He finally killed itachi in which he wanted sasuke to do in all fairness thats his choice. Sasuke continued to progress and fought hard opponents too.

They are equal its just a simple case that the spotlight obviously being on naruto bends the argument his way.
