Naruto and Sasuke are not equals. let me put it in php code:
$Naruto != Sasuke; //this means naruto is not equal to Sasuke.
$Naruto + $bijuu == Sasuke; // this means naruto plus bijuu is equal to sasuke.
now this is not some praise Sasuke crapy-post bcoz i dont like the idea of that type of main character.
but i believe that the sooner we accept Kishimoto's philosophy the sooner these Naruto vs Sasuke threads stop.
Kishimoto has programmed people reach a state of mind where they consolidate themselves and their naruto solos statements - which is crap. the only powerfull powerup naruto archieved on his own is the sage mode, which Kishi rendered it not effective, which is why he needs kyuubi to maintain it longer.
Now, why must the main actor, the one that the story is named after: always rely on people and bijuus (which is another living enctity), why cant the main actor be original for once, atleast the end...
and some may argue that Sasuke is using his brother's eyes however - bottom line is... his brother never gave him all that chakra he is spamming and his taijutsu. as a matter of fact Sasuke has been training to surpass his brother from a very tender age., while Naruto was running around with paint buckets.
you see, Kishimoto is very comfortable with that, maybe thats the message he wants to send because maybe thats how he succeded. he never did on his own - maybe.
So lets just accept it and enjoy other manga aswell. i mean e.g look at bleach Ichigo is so original right now its awesome. look at Goku, look at Erin, a weak titan - combat wise but its good.
Even Ashura was using bijuu to fight his brother. thats just how Kishi wants. hashirama was an ecception.
