Gather round my royal friends, I’ve a story to tell.
Naruto and Sasuke
were the eldest children of Indra and Asura who were also brothers.
The brothers were inseparable from the moment of their birth.
Known for their great love for each other
That is why the folks over at Narutobase
often speak of Sasuke in one breath,
and Naruto the next,
for they cannot bear to be apart,
not even in this story I'm about to tell
When their world was young, Over powered gods often walked the earth
Naruto and Sasuke were no exception
Both were delighted by the many wonders of their earth
They played with the animals
whispered to the trees
and even bathed in the lakes and streams.
Their days were filled with bliss
and they did not know sorrow
Then one day, while passing through the forest, Naruto and Sasuke came across an old and sickly god resting beneath a tree.
"Why do you sit so still, big brother?" asked Sasuke
"Yea, come play with us!" said Naruto
"Maa" spoke the god,
"I cannot. I am old, and although I wish to go to my rest, my legs can no longer carry me."
Taking pity on the god
Sasuke gathered him up into his arms and carried him to his rest beyond the gates
Naruto tried to follow them
but the darkness clouding the paths would not let him
Separated for the first time from Sasuke
Naruto wandered aimlessy till he came across two elder gods.
" You are lost, and soon you will die," the god named Madara said to Naruto.
"Your brother has abandoned you. He no longer loves you," said the other named Obito.
"I am not lost! and Sasuke has not abandoned me," replied Naruto.
He subdued the gods and bade them to carry him to Sasuke in the darkness.
This they did, for they had been defeated and were now bound to Naruto's service.
When Naruto found Sasuke
he found also the god
who once again was light on his feet
for his spirit was released from his weakened body.
Both Naruto and Sasuke rejoiced to see this
Sasuke vowed that he would remain in the darkness to guide the dead to their place beyond, just as he did the god.
And Naruto stayed with him
for the brothers cannot bear to be apart
