I guess nobody knows what a background is. It's fairly clear in the trailer that they're fighting where the Shinju stump is, pretty sure that's all it was. As much as I'd like Naruto to have mokuton, it's not going to happen.

There's a root moving right behind naruto and in front of the shiju background that stays still. The root stands out from the background tree with texture, style and everything. it's not the background. nor is it the cape & I mean he probably won't but there's nothing stopping Kishi from giving him it. saying it's not gonna happen is playing god which is not your role.

he has everything needed for mokuton to be used hashirama's cells (naruto's arm) and water and earth style as well. we also see a tree branch kinda thing moving behind naruto.
