I've been thinking lately about all these shipping flame wars that happens in nb every once in a while....narusaku,naruhina,sasusaku,blah blah blah.....!
Majority of these discussions have been on who naruto would end up with......which usually results in narusaku and naruhina fans bashing each other endlessly...,which inspired me to do some thinking on my own about who naruto would end up with...!which further led me to comparing naruto love pairings to my other favourite anime-one piece!
Which is when it suddenly struck me,naruto should end up with mei terumi,the mizukage of the mist.
now,before all of you come at me with your raging arguments about how she's older and how it's weird to pair them up....hear me out!
First of all,naruto is a shounen manga...in shounen mangas the hero usually gets the best of everything.he gets to beat the final villain..he saves everybody....he gets the hottest girl in the series or atleast the girl he wants..,etc..now,with luffy in one piece,we all know he's bound to get everything....he will be become pirate king ......he will obtain the one piece......he will bring the world government down just like whitebeard predicted before his death!but the most wicked thing about luffy is that he has the the hottest girl in the entire series drooling all over him...ie...boa hancock!although luffy rejects her now,after he becomes pirate king and has brought down the world government,there is a big probability of him changing his mind...!
Now let's get into the serious part!
Boa hancock is 31 years old.luffy is 18-19 years of age. if we look at the difference in their ages,it amounts to 12-13 years.
now,lets look at naruto and mei. naruto,as we all know is 17 years old.mei terumi is 29-30 years of age as shown in naruto wikia.
their age difference amounts to almost the same-13 years.
We all know naruto won't end after the war,because there will be that big clash between sasuke and naruto........which will happen after the war for the position of hokage or united leader of all the villages(probably because all the villages will unite after the war as one).
So,kishi could pull a page out of oda's book and make this pairing happen.i know it's highly unlikely,but if it happens it will be the most epic pairing ever.being older than him,she will be able to tolerate his stupidity and foolishness and love him for what he is,just like how boa does it with luffy.boa sees luffy's stupidest acts admirable because she's crazy about him.i could see the same happening if mei ends up with naruto!
Now let's move on to why i think sakura and hinata wouldn't make for good wives for naruto.
1.sakura-she beats him up for each and every thing he says.even when he jokes about stuff.she is what you would call a "short-tempered *****".she ignores and treates him like a piece of crap even though he cares about her too much,and because he cares about her,he does not hurt for all the bullying she does !now,just imagine, if they got married,naruto's life will be horrible.he will get beat up for each and everything he does[hell he wouldn't be able to touch her body even once the way she behaves],which will not do good for his reputation as the hokage of the leaf or leader of the five nations or the hero.
We all know naruto's gonna be the hero of this war,or atleast one of the heroes who helped stop this war.sakura's behaviour to naruto will not help people respect him.now,do not bring up kushina and minato example,because kushina did not try to beat up minato whenever she got angry.yes,she is short-tempered,but she never went overboard with her anger,and at most would only yell at him.she was a bully once,in her childhood,filled with anger and despair,but minato's love saved her,and that's why she loved him like crazy.but,i cannot say the same for sakura.she represents a "modern stereotypical teenage girl" who goes after the "cool guy".she would be better off with sasuke!
hinata-now,although she loves him unconditionally, and would make a good wife,she spends most of her time whining and crying.and aside from what we have seen in this war,she gets way too shy around naruto......i don't really have a problem with all that,but i think she's not that attractive,look-wise.
Which is why i found the pairing of naruto and mei to be epic.she does not unnecessarily rage and does not unnecessarily cry,her beauty has no bounds,and she has a perfect body.
i know this pairing has very less chances of happening because kishimoto and Eiichiro Oda are two very different writers.but,if kishi somehow makes this happen,it will be epic.
About the age-factor,i mean if luffy got boa hancock who is miles ahead in age,why can't naruto have mei??
