Naruto and Hinata: The Aftermath of her "Sacrifice"

Oh yes yes, this had an elaborate title, but its just one fact that is easy to see.

Naruto still has not requitted Hinata's Love, he has not spoken to her since her confession and is either afraid or uninterested.

It is possible that Naruto is at the point where he must decide if he wants to Cross the Rubicon or if he wants to avoid the topic when he encounters her next.

As for now, what we've seen, Naruto does not feel the same about Hinata...he does have interest in Sakura, as seen when he was shielding and protecting her in the last couple mangas after the Pain-Invasion-Arc.

There may be another reason for Naruto not returning her love, as Hinata may be hiding from Naruto..which is a very Hinata-esque personality trait...because she is afraid of his response.

All in all, nobody knows, but Naruto has grown from the experience.

dont forget when naruto saw hinata get hit he instantly went into fox mode. almost went nine tails . im sure he likes her, but this isnt a romance manga and naruto definitely has more important things to do before anything of that sort opens up

I don't see why Kish would have included hinata's love cry if it didn't play some role on the future of naruto. It happened at a very important part of the arc, maybe it was just a lead in for naruto to meet his dad but it seems we'll just have to wait and see

It's possible, but to have more than 4-tails released something drastic did have to happen...

Naruto had never had anyone tell him that they love him and that they would Die protecting him because they loved him...

So naturally, Naruto would've been seething with the worst emotions he'd ever felt if that person were "killed"

(even though it was not an immediately mortal wound)

Sadly it really doesn't look like there will be any big decisions made with regards to the Naruto/Hinata thing any time soon. Really annoyed me when I was expecting, with a lot of other people I'm sure, something between them, at LEAST an acknowledgement of what had been said, after Nagato's defeat. Seems like Kishimoto is happy to simply flirt with romance between the characters, always reluctant to make any actual definite choice.

Maybe once the dust has settled...

Sasuke was willing to die for him during there fight with zabuza and haji, remember he took the barage of kunai? The seal is weaking that's why we saw eight tails

but then sakura will prolly fall for sasuke again so then naruto will have hinata

probably it was not the right time to show that.....there were so much things going on with danzou and the kage meeting....so I think hinata has to wait...but it will happen!

thats not a bad prediction there at all !

in truth, i've got to agree with you that Naruto and Sakura have a much more appropriate pairing than Hinata does.

Naruto has never thought of Hinata in the way that she thinks of him, in essence, she has been...like a stalker...but with Sakura there is history of admiration and "brutal" friendship.

Hinata will have to apologize and try to get Naruto to know her better if she wants any chance of being with him...

Well Kishi probobly hasen't decided what he wants to do with the couple yet. Either way he goes he'll have crazy fans threatening to burn his house down lol. And this isn't a romance manga it generally takes a backseat.
