Naruto and Goku. Naruto's character was inspired by Goku's character actually.
Neither one of them is the smartest, they both love food,both are somewhat monsters,both have positive attitudes, neither knows the meaning of giving up or backing down,would give their life for their friends etc

orochimaru and freiza. both wear purple, no value of life or their minons, pale white, gender confusion issues (oro had a womens body freiza is voiced by a women) both very powerful during their arcs but weak compared to later, both have more then one form (oro has his human bodies, his real snake-like form and the 8 branches tech freiza has 4 different forms) and both underestimate their opponents untill its too late.

ive been thinking about this for a long time.... naruto-goku, sasuke-vegeta, neji(or kiba)-yamcha(idk who else for neji), shikamaru-piccolo, hinata-chi chi (in a way), sakura-bulma.... and many other characters....

oh yeah and jiraiya/kakashi-master roshi lol

well the similarities i see are in plot not just character similarities. like how sasuke (like vageta) wants to get revenge for his clan(or race) and itachi is the freiza (im not saying that itachi is exactly like freiza but he fills his role as the person who killed a race) and the askaski is kinda like the stronger version of the ginyu force. also how naruto has the beast in side of him and didnt know anything about it. this is like how goku didnt know he was the person who turned in to the great ape and killed his grandpa (like naruto and his father)
