Naruto and Bolts Rasengan. Was it really a normal one?

No element to it. It's just that Naruto's immensely stronger than his teen self, and a Rikudou-enhanced COR was enough to send Momo packing.

Idtk so, i think that rasengan had borutos raiton chakra mixed in it.

The novel says it was wind but the movie doesnt say anything so who knows.

With regards to Momo being launched into space, that was just the movie showing off its animation budget and trying to be "epic." It's just like how, in The Last, Sasuke's Chidori caused a meteor to freeze in place and then explode backwards, despite Chidori being a piercing attack; the movies just want to hype the abilities. It's also similar to Perfect Susano'o's blade apparently slicing everything within a 2-mile radius, despite the fact that the blade isn't that long and doesn't send out a chakra wave or anything; the series really doesn't give a crap about physics, as long as the moves look as "big" as possible.

So what if the Boruto movie presents this large Rasengan as being a ridiculously powerful move, despite it paling in comparison to most of the energy blasts in the War Arc (Naruto/Minato had the stronger father/son Rasengan, and it didn't do much to Juubito). The scene was hype, at least; the soundtrack coming in really gives me goosebumps

Yeah but for some reason after Sasuke told him about his Rasengan's ability, he started using the normal Rasengan, I state this due to the fact that the Rasengan itself had no 'wind' around it. You'll see in the Movie when Boruto creates the VRasengan, it has white specs moving across it. Figures that the kid didn't realize how special it was until Sasuke pointed it out, probably due to the fact that he was doing it naturally, he couldn't tell the difference between the VRasengan and the normal Rasengan. Aside from that, he creates the normal Rasengan first then applies the Nature chakra. He doesn't automatically create the VR.

Regarding the PS example, it's actually called the air pressure I believe. Like IRL when a jet flies past a skyscraper at top speed, or any extremely fast speed, it shatters the glass and destroys some of the building. If anything it shows how powerful the PS slash is, it's similar to Rankakyu (I hope I spelled that right) from OP when the user kicks and creates an air slash

Well we haven't seen anyone manipulate natural energy outside of some kind of Sage Mode, or Cursed Seal for that matter.

You're right but I wouldnt put it past Naruto being able to put natural energy into an attack without having to be in Sage Mode. It seems well within his capabilities.

It's only implied to be Base Naruto's power. If it were Kurama too then we'd either see Naruto in some cloaked mode or we would see or get some indication of Kurama lending him power.

And the Rasengan got a yellow color after Naruto added his power. Naruto's chakra is stated to be yellow in the Manga. So it was his base chakra.

Nope. Definitely not. That Shinju stump he smashed was as wide as a Mountain, and that was the traveling force of the Rasengan alone. :lol Imagine what the actual explosion does.

Was it? I think it had some sort of wind element to it; i mean it completely obliterates Momo's own rasengan then proceeds to launch him into space whilst destroying everything in its path.

We've never seen a normal rasengan(or any actually) do this, not to mention Boruto sorts of twist the Rasengan then launches it.

Did the novel elaborate more on this(i know its not canon but its something).

If the rasengan was a rasenshuriken, Boruto's arm would have been destroyed.
It is a standard movie father/son rasengan.
Maybe it is Boruto's special rasengan that made it that destructive.
