Just because Naruto is stronger than then all doesn't mean greater than them. Naruto would be by far the worst hokage if Madara were defeated this very second and Naruto were named hokage. Naruto is just too damn stupid. If you were to look at things in an ability chart per se, I'd rather have Sasuke over Naruto as hokage every single time. However, Sasuke is too emo and I'd never forgive him after betraying his entire village and joining up with a man whose sole goal is to destroy Konoha.
Just because you're strong doesn't make you hokage material. I don't think Naruto will ever be hokage material. I see Naruto as the guy you wanted to root for, whom you felt bad for after hearing his life story with his growing up without any parents, the loneliness, and the big dreams. However, the revelations in the late first half through the second half about his being the son of one of the greatest shinobi who ever lived and the whole prophecy just made his whole dream seem a bit less powerful. Now I just see Narurto as an effing idiot 16 year old with a 12 year old's outlook on the world trying to etch his name in history. I don't think he's smart enough and I don't think he'd be able to make the right decision if another sudden extreme situation like kyuubi attack were to happen. I think those situations are what you want a hokage for. Advisors and the like mean nothing when you have a minute to decide on how to handle a horrible situation, and i just don't see Naruto being able to handle it.
If there's anyone I'd love to see become hokage, it's Shikamaru. I think Shikamaru's honor and passion and just plain badassery along with his genius would make him a fantastic hokage. If you were to put Shikamaru's back against the wall, he'd be able to formulate a plan. Put Naruto's back against the wall and he'd be too stupid to realize his back's against the wall.
So, to the OT, I'd say he's stronger than them all, but I think he'd be the absolute worst hokage of them all by far.
