Well to tell you the truth I found it anticlimatic. First of all the absorption technque only works against ninjutsu and in case you go by saying that Nagato had used it against Bee, let me remind you that he did it in a matter of seconds but at those seconds he had to make contact with him. That being said, even obito was managing to take some of Madara's chaka, the latter should have been able to touch him and take his eye out immediately. As for Izanagi, doesn't it only when someone only is about to die? But even if not, the blindness supposedly is immediate but yet you gave him the chance to his eye one more time before he returns to the real world. The ending with Obito was a bit too sweet for my taste considering how things looked and then having madara taking his time to analyze just what happened was a bit time- consuming.
