Naruto has met the fabled Sage of Six Paths; Hagoromo! The old man reminiscences the past in order to provide a greater depth of understanding for Naruto. How will things progress from here?
Naruto: I'm the reincarnation of . . . Ashura?
Hagoromo: Yes, my youngest son's soul has been constantly reborn, sparking a specific lineage that has now fallen unto you. He makes up your very essence, yet, you are still really yourself, a specific individual who's actions are completely interdependent on itself.
Naruto: . . . Huh?!
Hagoromo: Never mind. Just know that Ashura's soul is basically you now.
Naruto: Ohh, gotcha'! So this Indra kid? You said he started a war or something, right?
Hagoromo: Yes, after entrusting my youngest son with my legacy; Kurama, a mere piece of a mural I had fashioned, he felt that I favored him over himself and challenged Ashura to a duel.
Naruto: ?!!
Hagoromo: Due to his intense anger, he awakened something powerful within his eyes; a new and improved doujutsu formed. Using it's powers, he was sure he would win over his little brother.
Naruto: [Smile] But he lost, right?! He must've been no match for Ashura!
Hagoromo: No. Indra beat Ashura to death. All that was left of my boy was a broken, jarred, piece with blood scattered all around.
Naruto: [Shocked]
Hagoromo: After he won, the others that followed Ashura sought to avenge him. They all battled Indra in a death-match eventually causing him to succumb to their joint attack. When he was killed, his immense chakra continued to exist and eventually, like Ashura's, crafted a new vessel to withhold it's power.
Naruto: [Sweat] That sounds like the thing Obito told me about?! Back at the Iron Country when he said me and Sasuke we're destined to fight!
Hagoromo: Yes. He was right. My two sons spirits have born two very powerful clans; the Uchiha and the Senju. These two families have had a history of bloodshed over the centuries, correct? It is only natural seeing as there ancestors both fought to the death.
Naruto: Hmm, wait. Then where does my clan come from? [Points to Back] The Uzumaki clan? If I'm not related to the Senju than why does Ashura reside within me now?
Hagoromo: . . . What I am about to tell you is to never leave your mouth. It's secret is vital to the entire world, understand?
Naruto: [Leaning Forward] Sure, sure!
Hagoromo: I told you about my brother didn't I? When we battled the Juubi, I could not seal the entire thing within myself. Not even a child of my mother could my body handle the stress of that power. My brother, who is actually the one that sealed the Juubi, separated it's chakra into two halves; Yin and Yang. He sealed the Yang half inside of me which I then later split further into nine pieces. He traveled far away following our battle and found a group of monks. He taught them his sealing techniques which would later be called Fuinjutsu. They became his followers and adopted his name; Uzumaki.
Naruto: Ahhh!
Hagoromo: When he died, they sealed the Juubi that was inside of him within a special artifact he had crafted; the Yasakani no Magatama, a jewel that hangs in the entrails of an Uzumaki shrine within your home island. No man knows of it's existence . . . only you. And so, the Uzumaki clan eventually sought out my peaceful bloodline, the Senju. They became good allies and so Ashura must've chosen you know to be his host after all this time, for whatever reason.
Naruto: [Swallows]
Hagoromo: But you must never use it, seek it out, or even utter it's name! Or else you run the risk of bringing more vengeance to this cursed world already consumed with the heated rivalry my son's ghost continue to consummate!
Naruto: [Laughs] You don't have to worry about that, old geezer!
Hagoromo: ?!
Naruto: I plan to end this cycle of hatred! This thousand-year war ends soon!
Hagoromo: [Surprised] While you possess my son's qualities, I do think it's impossible to end such a vicarious nature of which has been ongoing for centuries.
Naruto: [Smiles Mischievously] Yeah, but you forgot something important!
Hagoromo: [Shocked] And that is . . . ?
Naruto: If Ashura chose an Uzumaki to reside in this time, the cycle's already been broken!!!
Hagoromo: !!!
Naruto: He did something new by choosing me out of the norm! That means this destiny thing can finally end! And I plan to do it! Just believe in me, old man!
Hagoromo: [Head Down] [Smiles]
The ground begins shaking. Air begins to crack and splinter. Far off voices can be heard.
Hagoromo: I must leave soon. It seems your friends are almost done saving you. Another appointment awaits me.
Naruto: W-wait! How do I defeat Madara?! He's absorbed all the Bijuu again and became like the old you!!!
Hagoromo: [Silent] I have nothing special to provide you with, Naruto. Instead, I may only offer words of wisdom; look within yourself to defeat him. He may have the Tailed-Beast physically, but he doesn't have them spiritually and that's where his weakness lies.
Naruto: Argh! I don't understand you at all!
Hagoromo: No matter. I trust you will discover the answer yourself in due time, Naruto. Farewell.
Naruto: [Smiles] Goodbye, old geezer! It was eye-opening talking with you!
Hagoromo: [Smiles] And you as well, truly. [Begins to fade]
Hagoromo slowly dissipates, becoming a white vapor that snakes into the air until not a trace remains. Suddenly, the white room is stripped of it's neutral color. The atmosphere becomes filled with black and red. The water thickens considerably, seemingly rising a few feet. A new mass appears in front of Naruto.
Naruto: Yo, what's up, Kurama.
[Yin] Kurama: . . . Uzumaki Naruto!
Naruto has finally been healed and he sits face-to-face with the other Kurama. What plan will they conspire to defeat the evil Madara?!!
