While your prediction had some very good characteristics, it also had some cliche with no actual point. For instance, you have the sage introducing a power to Naruto and them immediately you have him to rule it out as a possible usable power, it's like you sel-negate the power-up you were willing to give. Another point is that it would be stupid to see sage appearing now to Sasuke. It would be like, hello you're the second one, let me introduce you my product.
