Obito is merely the key to Madara being revived through the Rinnengan. Madara still has (partial) control over the Juubi. And Madara is still superior in terms of power.
Madara as it stands doesn't even need the Juubi in order to conquer. No ninja alive can defeat him and he's already proven that. If anything Obito's existence is simply a luxury and not a necessity for him.
Granted, Madara does need the Juubi's power to cease the world via the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

By the way, Madara is still in control and still reigns supreme. Obito at the end of the day is still purely a pawn. Unless in the end he decides to betray Madara and help the Shinobi Alliance or something.

True Madara doesn't need the Juubi to conquer but hes already revived and without Obito he cant become a jinchuriki and will have even less control over the Juubi if that thing breaks free Madara is going to get wasted, id say he needs Obito for now

Stop being butthurt because you can't accept the truth. Also, I prefer Obito over Madara any day of the week. I'm simply stating facts. Lol, Madara isn't a god. That's what he's pursuing right now, the status of a god/next SO6P/next jinchuriki of the Juubi. Obviously. He's just simply better than Obito. And I've already proven that. Kishi has too, but I guess some people like you aren't able to read between the lines.

I don't think you know what plot-no-jutsu means. This isn't entirely due to the plot or plot devices. It's simply an element of the plot in and of itself. A living vessel must become the jinchuriki of the Juubi. Madara is the living dead. He still needs Obito to revive him for him to become human again in order to meet the requirements of becoming the ultimate ruler.
