We have seen Naruto using his Shadow clones to advance his training before. My question is, could he keep at least 1 or 2 clones constantly training?
We know he has massive amounts of chakra, so keeping a few clones rolling (clones dispersing after an amount of time and him making a new one to replace it) shouldn't be a problem. He could then get these clones to start training or even reading, giving him the experience and knowledge they gained when they disperse.
Even 1 clone doing push ups all day would benefit him. With a few doing exercises like this and the real one sparing vs Lee, his taijutsu could increase ten-fold. Maybe even have one in the library studying tactics or reading up on new jutsu while the real sits around eating ramen.
Things have changed now that there is a war and that he is using the Nine-Tails state. But if he had started doing this when he found out how it worked, I think he could have easily been the strongest in the narutoverse right now.
