Hey I am an ns fan, and prior to this little confession ns had so much more evidence and parallels than any other couple. But this little confession here did sort of drop a bomb on any chance we had. But Kishi did do a terrible job with the romance in this manga. I mean sakura is going to end up with a guy who has essentially almost stabbed her twice and hasn't given a shit about anyone other naruto and itachi throughout the manga, and naruto is going to end up with girl, whom he hasn't had an actual conversation.

If you could bring up some manga scans and facts on the stronger NaruSaku parallel then most pairings I can continue our conversation on a more logical level. I appreciate you commenting as a NaruSaku fan without hate towards the post, mean's you still got a brain on your shoulders.

The problem is what most people don't take into account in romance especially a manga such as this. Naruto never grew up with love, so what does he know? Right now he is a pubescent boy and he finds Sakura attractive. He is not experienced in the world of physical intercourse, neither in the field of emotions. He strives for acceptance, hence the reason why he transformed into Sasuke (Someone who was widely accepted especially among the females). There is no way to justify Naruto's feelings at such a young age when he barely knew the girl. Saying he "finally understands why he likes her" is cute. How can you understand someone you met a few days ago? Love is deep. Everyone has fell in the deep abyss of love. Where you find someone you're physically attractive to, but then once things don't work out (Either you don't talk to him/her, or the relationship fails) you understand that it was nothing more than physical attraction starting it. Love will see behind the white lines created. Love will cause you to do stupid things, love will cause you to die for the person. This was never love. And in the end, it all lead to friendship. NaruSaku had MANY chances to take the road to canon but it did not accomplish those moments because out of 700+ chapters Sakura's feelings for Sasuke did not change.

People can cry out azzpull on NH and SS but yet ignore, a lot can happen in 6 years and it obviously it did.

Alright, I figure I might as well to get it out. First, I acknowledge nh is cannon. But I just feel that there is so much more evidence towards ns. First off, the parallels between minato and kushina and ns are obvious. From their physical actions (kushina/sakura flex muscle) to the scenes they are captured in (just search it in google you will see a bunch of similar poses) to the whole insecurity about the forehead/red hair. Kushina's and sakura's personalities are undeniably similar as well. The parallel blurs a little when comparing naruto and minato, but both are hero types (people who save the day) and they are physically very similar being father son and all. Also there are many more ns moments in entire naruto franchise. To list a few, when yamato says "sakura you really...' or something like that, sai saying naruto loves sakura, the mechanaruto episode (that was really cheesy), the shippuden movie when sai says that women are strong for their man or something like that. Then you have the parts when sakura smiles fondly at naruto or offers to feed him the ramen or the I can only do the littlest things. There are other stuff but at this point I lack the motivation to list them. But what I am trying to say is that ns has the most development and they have chemistry which other couples lack. Sakura went from finding naruto annoying to admiring him and caring for him. Now I understand this evidence really isn't definitive but it so much more than what nh and ss have. I mean first of all there are zero moments in the entire franchise where naruto has shown romantic feelings towards hinata, and sasuke to sakura. Naruto and hinata haven't had an actual conversation. How can they love each other? this is where I think kishi really screwed up, because naruto never shows any indication of feelings towards hinata which is what makes this couple really hard to swallow. SS on the other is truly stupid. It destroys all of sakura's development from a useless, weak member of team seven to probably the strongest female character on the show who doesn't take shit from anyone. I mean she still loves the guy that would have killed her. That is just really sad on so many levels. I also find it very annoying that kishi is going to leave the bench scene as it is with sakura never finding out that it was naruto. that irritates me. Also, I forgot to mention that sakura has the approval of both naruto's parents while both have never even heard of hinata. Again I understand none of this evidence is definitive, but there is just so much more to support ns than ss or nh. What I think really happened is that Kishi wants to make money. He understood that he would alienate the majority of his fans by making ns cannon which would mean a loss of money. So I think the manga started with ns as the plan, but in the last hundred so chapters he hurried and scrambled to fit romance into the last couple chapters to make the pairings somewhat plausible. I can't blame him though for wanting to appease the largest part of his fanbase.
