First of all, exactly why he doesn't owe her anything. Second it can be one sided on the guys part, because he is the dominant gender esp in this series and will pursue his person of interest regardless of the other women. He has the final say with who he choses if hes given up on sakura she would be rebound but i guess you guys are ok with that.



Sakura and Naruto have done things for each other. Sakura is always trying her best to help him but as quoted in the past from her 'it seems that the things i can do for him are so small'. Yet her small things still were something so there was kind of a back and forth thing there. Which was consistent i should add. Sakura did tell him to bring back sasuke by the way. But she tried to let him forget about it later when she realised what it is doing to him.

That part is false.
She is not in love with Naruto, it was implied her feelings 'MIGHT' be genuine and she practically confirmed it was bs by the fact she still loves Sasuke.
She is not jealous of Hinata's feelings for Naruto in the slightest.

If that's the case of her thinking of Sasuke instead of Naruto because she cant compete with Hinatas love for naruto why didn't they detail that? She admitted to being in love with Sasuke still. Nothing more nothing less. And now Sakura has reason to still love him now.

Granted Sakura may have genuine feelings for Naruto but to what extent? No one can speak for Sakura about loving Naruto when she's yet to show any feelings of loving him like she does Sasuke or Hinata does Naruto.

Honestly, for the life of me, I can't remember who it was that was third to say it... I think it was Kakashi but my gut says it was someone else, one of the older generation though.

Yes, the holding hand was definitely a HUGE development for Hinata. Romantic though it may have seemed, it ultimately wasn't, though it did make her the first to have the Kyuubi chakra cloak. I honestly feel bad for poor Hinata, all that unrequited love for Naruto. Poor thing. But given that he has been her crush and then love for most of the series, I think it would be a better development for her character to realize that Naruto doesn't return her feelings and learn to move on. (Perhaps to Kiba. Heheheh.)

As far as not detailing Sakura's thoughts on Hinata's love, all we see is her being depressed about Hinata's confession, and then feeling REALLY gloomy when she thought of Sasuke. All of her guilt, Sakura probably thinks she doesn't deserve Naruto, that Hinata does instead. Why isn't it detailed? Honestly, most of the pairing stuff is contrived and not detailed in the manga. Kishi isn't good at romantic development, and for a shonen manga, he doesn't need to be.... the fans will do all the work for him! Yes, I'm as guilty of that as every other pairing fan!

I used to be a SasuSaku fan, after all it would be terribly romantic for Hinata and Sakura to win over their objects of affection at long last.... but honestly, both of them would be better characters to end up with someone OTHER than their crush. Because then, romantically at least, they never truly grow out of the crush stage. Hinata's has, but it still has some semblances of her past immaturity. Sakura's just hasn't had any development since Sasuke left since, well, he was gone. But I have a feeling Sakura doesn't have "a reason to love him" now. She's happy he is back... but he's still not 100%.

Yes, they have explicitly stated they are NaruHina. If you aren't why are we discussing this?

No she has not come to terms with it which is exactly why i think it will happen because Naruto already loves her. So her coming to terms with already known feelings would push the pairing above the rest.

She just has to have her closure with Sasuke, Hinata would be a rebound to if you put it like that. I think that development was more to fueling Hinatas sub plot, confidence and such which she lacked now neji is out of the picture she will have to step up and take her rightful place.

I think Minato's quote was not written in there for no purpose, this show often has alot of parrallels. I am not one to believe the pairing is set in stone but i support it none the less and believe it will come out on top. I am waiting until the end of the manga but i can't ignore threads of the others pairings who won't.

Naruto from the begging has been her inspiration and motivation, without this she would have never tried to better herself, her character development revolves in this mainly. The cheering in the chuuning exams, the blood bow, saving her from the zetsus. Small things that actually mean alot. Is because Naruto has always been her inspiration that she tries to help him as much as she can. And for a side character she tends to be there in moments that would be more crucial if it was Sakura.

Actually, he didn't took it more serious but view it as another reason to bring him back. Actually the only thing he saids to say is "how can I tell her, when I can't even save one friend" he never saids love just something to point out. Also, when the fake confession happen he doesn't believe her because he knows that she's in love with Sasuke, is not that he's convince, he knows it. After all is because of this that he practically did a back-off and tried not to pursued Sakura like before.
