NaruHina Still on!(Not a Fanboy post lol)--REPOST.

So, I know the "parallel has been drawn" from Kushina and Sakura....BUT! I have a good theory as to why Naruto will end up with Hinata.

*Disclaimer* I like Hinata and Sakura equally. Just trying to put forth a guess:

1. Naruto's personality---very very similar to Kushina's personality. Minato's personality--quiet, clam, kind etc. The point is just because Minato likes the way Sakura acts does not mean Naruto will end up with her. If you think about it, since Kushina is like Naruto, he wouldn't end up wanting to be with someone just like his own personality (loud estatic etc). Opposites attract, lol. Like minato and kushina. Though Minato is not shy like Hinata I feel like they fall into the same category/type of person.

2. Sasuke's acknowledgement of Sakura. The only person Sasuke mentioned was Sakura. I think he feels bad for what he did to her back when he killed Danzo. I bet after he'll pull her aside and apologize at least for that. I think Sasuke will have too much pride to apologize to the rest of K11...and that's just his personality. and obviously why he's a bad a$$. He's also acknowledging her strength.

3. Kishi had Minato draw that parallel so that we can doubt the fact that NaruHina will happen, for suspense pretty much. What I do see happening, is sort of what was predicted by the user KCMNaruto. I think later Naruto will be prepared to save Hinata because of the things she did for him against Pein and also when she slapped the sh*t out of him and said she loves him. What I see happening is Hinata being in a deadly situation, and naruto pretty much putting his life on the line to save her.....BUT, the twist is that Minato will save them both and die/get sealed away at the time. As his edo body peels away he will think something like...."Naruto was prepared to die for her? Ahhh *smiles* she must be the one--Just like I was prepared to die for him and Kushina".. Then he'll say goodbye again to Naruto.


I feel like the parallel in point 3 is MUCH stronger than the parallel to Kushina and Sakura's personalities.

Side note: Yea, Naruto would probably die for Sakura but I don't think Kishi will let him save her lol. What I do see happening is Sasuke saving Sakura---that would make up for him trying to kill her..maybe just a little bit

well instead of just stating that, give some evidence for it man. They say a lot of things in the manga that don't come true to get you to think a certain way so u don't expect things to happen. Suspense lol

thank you for posting an unbiased/unbashing argument towards your pairing.

1) i understand why people say this, but its not necessarily true that all opposites attract. Naruto has liked Sakura for years, and still up to 632 likes her for who she is (as he stated when he found out that she seeked acknowledgment from sasuke in chp 3/4 which is very much like naruto himself) Yes, hinata seeks naruto's acknowledgement too but its more on a infatuation level. wanted sasuke's acknowledgement is different than being in love with him, infatuation is expected in this situation traditionally on her part. also though, for sasuke and hinata both...i dont see them handling sakura and naruto's personalities well. sakura is an only child with strict parents and naruto is a only child with no parents. sakura has a more mature personality and is independent and decisive. Naruto is independent but not necessarily mature...i couldnt see hinata being able to make up for that mature aspect like sakura can (seriously not dissing her, just looking at the personality types)
2) i agree with all you say, but at the same time, he didnt say sorry to sakura like he did karin (though he looked scared of her fangirlism ha ha) and sakura didnt jump in his arms when he came back. its obvious she has alot of reservations about sasuke and it would take alot of development from this point on to get them on pairing terms. she says sasuke kun like she does i think in this last chp because lets face it, last time he tried killing her, now hes saving her and somewhat acknowledging her progress. im happy he did finally
3)i like your prediction, honestly, i couldnt be too upset if something like that happened despite my pairing not being canon. i would have to disagree though, simply because there is much more to the kush/saku parallel than most want to acknowledge. given manga evidence, kushina and sakura were both bullied, both hot headed, both want acknowledgement, and in both instances (though sakura we dont think has pieced it together yet) their insecureness has been complimented by the men who are/possibly going to be in their partners. (naruto disguised as sasuke compliments sakura's forehead after she has a daydream about that exact thing happening, and of course, kushina and her red hair and string of fate)

In all honesty we will see. Thank you for your kind words and good argument.
However, I think that Sakura is more infatuated with Sasuke than Hinata is with Naruto. All girls liked Sasuke, not just Sakura. Noone liked Naruto but Hinata. As we have seen before (idk which episode) but Hinata is very good looking--and the K11 acknowledged that...It's not like she is settling for Naruto. Sakura, on the other hand built her love on the fact that sasuke was so "Cool" and he's the best looking. She didn't know anything about him, only that he was a badass. Hinata, on the other hand felt love for Naruto when he stood up for her with those kids back in the day. Furthermore, he never changed his personality and she fell more and more in love with him because of his nindo...and she even copied his nindo!! Sakura just based her love on the looks and the idea of being with such a good looking guy because I feel like she was reallly self concious about herself. Having Sasuke as "her man" would essentially make her feel like someone important and worthy of recognition....Now however, it's different. I feel that Sakura has gained confidence to ignore Sasuke, INITIALLY! That's the key point. I see sasuke apologizing to nobody but Sakura (to naruto he won't explicity apologize but it'll be like some unsaid secret to them). And I think then Sasuke will say oh I realized why Sakura is right for me. THe point i'm trying to make here is eventhough the basis of her love for sasuke was immature, it can still evolve into something once sasuke opens up to her. We know sasuke deep down to be a badass protector. He jumped infront of hakus needles---He was going to try to stall Garaa so naruto and sakura can run away( before naruto went ape sh!t). Once that personality comes back out of sasuke, then I feel he will finally let his guard down and accept sakura. At first sakura will be reluctant and ask him why he was so mean to her....

I know this is long but what i'm trying to say is that though sakura is trying to ingore the fact that she still likes sasuke atm, i think she will go head over heels again if she finds about the truth of Itachi. She will then see what sasuke was harboring.

The reason why i talk about sasuke and sakura so much is that obviously if sasuke gets with her then naruto can't. Then he will realize what is it that he likes about sakura? She seems like an object to him. Someone he can protect---a trophy. I don't like that about his "love" for sakura. He will see what Hinata has been sacrificing and doing....

gah! so long lol I hope somone reads this..


P.S. Wouldn't it be awesome if Sasuke and Hinata end up together? They both have dojutsu so i wonder how their kid will turn out. On top of that Sasuke might even like Hinata--she never raved about him like all the other girls and she is quiet which I think sasuke find appealing haha.. that would be hilarious...

You both had very good points. But I'll just like to point a few things out:
1. Kishi said in a interview, if a hyuuga and uchiha had a kid, one eye would be byakugan and the other sharingan.

2. The chances for all four main couples are high: Sasusaku, Naruhina, Narusaku, and Sasukarin. Also Sasuino and Leesaku, tbh (Less then others though.

The original love cycle was. Hinata>Naruto>Sakura, Sakura & Ino>Sasuke
Now:
Hinata>/=Naruto
Sakura>Sasuke
Naruto>/=Sakura
Karin>Sasuke
Ino>Sasuke
Lee>Sakura

Eventually, all couples will have their moments. If it keeps going like this.

I don't want to really get in the way of your debate though! So go on! ^_^

P.s. It'd be easier to read if you guys broke it up more.
