In all honesty we will see. Thank you for your kind words and good argument.
However, I think that Sakura is more infatuated with Sasuke than Hinata is with Naruto. All girls liked Sasuke, not just Sakura. Noone liked Naruto but Hinata. As we have seen before (idk which episode) but Hinata is very good looking--and the K11 acknowledged that...It's not like she is settling for Naruto. Sakura, on the other hand built her love on the fact that sasuke was so "Cool" and he's the best looking. She didn't know anything about him, only that he was a badass. Hinata, on the other hand felt love for Naruto when he stood up for her with those kids back in the day. Furthermore, he never changed his personality and she fell more and more in love with him because of his nindo...and she even copied his nindo!! Sakura just based her love on the looks and the idea of being with such a good looking guy because I feel like she was reallly self concious about herself. Having Sasuke as "her man" would essentially make her feel like someone important and worthy of recognition....Now however, it's different. I feel that Sakura has gained confidence to ignore Sasuke, INITIALLY! That's the key point. I see sasuke apologizing to nobody but Sakura (to naruto he won't explicity apologize but it'll be like some unsaid secret to them). And I think then Sasuke will say oh I realized why Sakura is right for me. THe point i'm trying to make here is eventhough the basis of her love for sasuke was immature, it can still evolve into something once sasuke opens up to her. We know sasuke deep down to be a badass protector. He jumped infront of hakus needles---He was going to try to stall Garaa so naruto and sakura can run away( before naruto went ape sh!t). Once that personality comes back out of sasuke, then I feel he will finally let his guard down and accept sakura. At first sakura will be reluctant and ask him why he was so mean to her....

I know this is long but what i'm trying to say is that though sakura is trying to ingore the fact that she still likes sasuke atm, i think she will go head over heels again if she finds about the truth of Itachi. She will then see what sasuke was harboring.

The reason why i talk about sasuke and sakura so much is that obviously if sasuke gets with her then naruto can't. Then he will realize what is it that he likes about sakura? She seems like an object to him. Someone he can protect---a trophy. I don't like that about his "love" for sakura. He will see what Hinata has been sacrificing and doing....

P.S. Wouldn't it be awesome if Sasuke and Hinata end up together? They both have dojutsu so i wonder how their kid will turn out. On top of that Sasuke might even like Hinata--she never raved about him like all the other girls and she is quiet which I think sasuke find appealing haha.. that would be hilarious...

i apologize for not responding sooner lol but i have read the whole thing! and first off...yes sasuhina would be a dream pairing in my book lol i think they look good together but again i dont think hinata could handle his god complex.

i can agree that sakura seemed more infatuated with sasuke than hinata with naruto in their younger years, older years def not the case. granted, i was specifically talking about the manga, i dont really keep up with the anime because the exaggeration gets on my nerves. the manga characters are much cooler lol in the manga its not stated how or why hinata likes naruto nor why sakura likes sasuke. my theory was simply a theory, considering im a girl and relate to sakura's character very much back at that age (im only 24 now, but you know what i mean) hinata has only been shown liking naruto and they have had moments but they irritate me like the sakura moments over sasuke.
confessions are alike for one- sakura knows something is up with sasuke, and wants to help him...but she tells naruto? why not the hokage? or kakashi? i mean, she knew the path he was heading towards and i know she was young, but she found him that night and told him how she would feel if he left. it was all about her and she didnt really consider talking to him about why he wanted to leave, and she threatened to scream after to alert someone (shows me she wasnt really going to leave) it was sakura's last attempt at getting his attention. he thanks her, acknowledging her plea, then leaves (****!) since then everytime it shows sakura thinking of sasuke, its in a negative way.
hinata, in the manga, is shown observing the battle between naruto and pein...she decides that he needs help though he just requested for no one to get in his way, and once she sees him in trouble she jumps to save him. admirable indeed in a way, but she was clearly not thinking things through very much (obviously) but again, besides confessing her love..if hinata wanted to help naruto, what could she have done? she could have protested not helping, and asked some people to get together and distract pein long enough to save naruto, or jump down there and start hitting the rods (like they showed in the anime) to get him loose, but no...she confesses her love and then pein laughs and beats her down. the situation could have gotten very bad, and in the end she didnt help naruto out at all...
long post...sorry lol...but again what i am getting at myself is that this is one of the many reasons why i feel sakura and hinata's loves are quite the same...versus when we see naruto and sakura's interactions...naruto obviously does anything he can to help sakura and has liked/loved her all these years yet hasnt changed his mind as of 632 and sakura has been shown to think about sasuke, but her actions show much more love and care for naruto than she realizes (despite her not deconfirming the gf statement) she was willing to sacrifice her and sasuke's place as chunin for naruto's hokage dream, they think alike, they have similar but different personalities, they are best friends, she also accepted dates from naruto (despite saying she hates him) and she trusts in naruto the most. in part 2 we have her introduced openly flirting with naruto and from their on out, their goal is to save sasuke, but they are growing closer in the progess. she was willing to kill sasuke for naruto's sake, and she made an awfully big promise to fill when she confessed to naruto, for it not to be real. naruto doesnt know women very well right now, so it wouldnt surprise me if naruto didnt take the confession seriously, but sakura's angry reaction and this last manga has lead me to believe otherwise. naruto, as far as we know, has no other confirmation that sakura indeed does like him, besides the confession, so in my mind if that wasnt a true confession or naruto didnt truly know sakura's feelings...why tell his dad yes? why was that the question anyways? not hey son..how are you...wow big jyubi blast huh? oh is this your teammate...friend...girlfriend..see what i mean? why that convo? lol naruhina cant touch that development sadly

again, not saying this means anything as its all my own opinion. i truly meant none of it to be bashing or demeaning if it was, just analyzing the characters and their convo/interactions.
