Surely sasuke had couple of options to save himself if not for naruto whose floating maneurability feat wise is no better then air ballon yet all ya nardo fanboys dare to not only compare him to ex juubi jins yet speculate that he is somehow better.

Except you know, naruto can float and recover, while sasuke was dead falling about 2-3 yards above the lava. He difnt have time to look around for places to teleport, naruto was his savior. And what does narutos flying speed have to do with anything, so desperate

Naruto wasn't in any danger of falling into the lava.

First off, he's far away from the lava's surface.
Sasuke on the otherhand was a couple of feet away from the lava and about to hit it.

Second, Naruto can float even if he's spinning, the only thing he couldn't do at that moment was stop spinning.

Third, it shouldn't even matter to naruto if he falls in lava, he's grabbed lava in KCM which is incomparably weaker than his current mode which can take kaguya's punches without damage. Sasuke on the otherhand doesn't have that kind of durability as he has no chakra cloak.

So again, even if he falls into the lava, it's not dangerous to him.

Fact is, if naruto didn't need sasuke's help while sasuke would have fallen into the lava if naruto wasn't there.
