As Alucard was about to approach the half-sunken tavern for nostalgias sake, he was approached by someone who seemed to be your average fisherman. The mist wouldn't allow them to be fully revealed but, there seemed to be no harm placed within. Atleast not for now. With his summoning close by, he would no doubt draw the attention of the locals but what sort of attention remained to be seen. Perhaps this one would let him know, was he wanted, was he feared or was he..?????? the Order of the Golden Amputation
The fisherman continued to draw in his net as a sinister figure approached the coral reefs. Unlike most that came here, this one seemed to want to show off their strength. The problem was, their appearance did not seem human. Something about them was off. Taking a bird from his cage, he attached a small coded note and released it into the air.
While the bird flew away, he grabbed his oar and pushed himself along the calm water towards the newcomer. To any, this was just a simple fisherman doing his rounds on the island. He was no shinobi, just a simple being trying to live. "Oi, you there. Are yeh lost?" he shouted through the mist.
No, my friend. If you live as long as i do, walk across the earth - you don't get lost.
He spoke with confidence and clarity, as to make up for the foggy scenario where one's voice probably carried more weight as appearance was not always something one could rely on. He did continue.
I am from these islands, but i haven't been on this specific one for..
He hesitated for a brief moment, was he to go on full honest right away or should he marinate his story a wee bit for the sake of not being caught up in some sort of tumble.. He chose the latter.
Quite a while.
Genious, Al - GENIOUS* he thought to himself, applying a smirk. Come to think of it, he had actualy forgotten when he had made landfall to this island last time.. Was it 2.. 300 years ago? He awaited the curiousity of the native to expand upon. Infact, he invited them to.
Why don't you tell me about yourself, about the status of the region. Perhaps over a stout or whatever is served in there.
He pointed towards the tavern door which was where he had parked his steps to reply to the person in the first place. He awaited their reply.
