[Discussion] Nami and Robin..

Anyone else lose interest in them as characters? .

All I see Oda doing with them now is showing their breasts and fanboying over the men in their crew.

Even Sanji's same old pervish crap is getting dull to me now. Like for example, Jiraiya had his moments.. it was all cool.. Roshi had his moments.. it was all cool. With Sanji the element of "pervyness" is overused to me.

Personally, I believe Oda should've matured Sanji a more and lessened his "perv" moments. So when they did happen, they were pretty comedic and not annoying.

A bit more focus on robin would be nice, she is usually just standing in the background doing nothing but stare lol. She needs more dialogue and some good fights.

I like sanji but i was pissed when he ignored the little kids crying for help even though he always give lectures to not leave a women needs help or crying .

Luffy is getting into "pirate alliances" now. Younkou are gonna be entering maybe in 50 or so chapters.

Nah, not really. Doesn't seem like Dressrosa is a place with a Poneglyph so Robin isn't gonna get much development here in that aspect but maybe she'll get some with CP0. And Nami hasn't been doing her navigator thing lately but she did help take down Jura(?).

Also, Sanji was pretty serious and badass when it came to DD a few chapters ago, his perviness hasn't even been that bad lately. Plus, it's a part of Sanji's character, you can't expect him to be like J-man's or Roshi's character, they're nowhere near as old or wise for that to happen while Sanji is a young adult, it makes sense for him to have bad control of his perviness to me. I haven't had any problems with the characters so far.

Robin could use some fights though. Her DF was pretty handy (no pun intended) before the timeskip, it would be nice to see her more active in fights after the timeskip.

I love Robin. While Oda does show off her body a whole lot, it's Robin, so there's a classiness to it.

She's also intelligent, significant and her personality is awesome.

Agreed... It aggravates me to no end (she's my favorite).



I mean in Alabasta she's this stealth master assassin.... And after that she's suddenly the girl who's just there for a free ride, and some occasionally lends a hand: LITERALLY.


All she's done in the New Wold, despite meeting DRAGON... Is play support and do basically nothing.... Oh wait, Damn fan service.




I'm sorry.... But who the hell goes to an underground black market hostage exchanges in a DRESS AND HIGH HEELED BOOTS....Especially with double crossing Doflamingo around? C'mon Oda.



I still have my hopes up that Robin will kick it in gear and show more stealth and CP-9 like moves soon... But at this rate its just going to be another character that I like that's complete crap in a fight... Which seemingly always happens to me.

I'm not going to comment on Nami and Robin, since I'm still on the part where Luffy defeated Hordy Jones, and provoked Big Mama. I'll start watching again when the series finish.

Anyways, I kinda agree on the bit about Sanji, I don't mind it but it's overdone. What really annoys me is that he won't fight a girl (and nearly got killed a couple times), he worships them a bit too much imo.
