Because Obito offered him a world were lies wouldn't exist. A paradise for a shinobi who's life was filled with only lies and self doubt. Obito gave him a chance to live in a free world and he took it!

Red just seems like the most evil and dark to me and Madara is supposed to be as dark as they can get
The way I would imagined each Uchiha susanoo color is like this
Itachi: reddish orange/yellow
Sasuke: Purple
Madara: Dark Red
Obito(if he got it): Dark Blue

Someone made a theory about how Susano'o reflects a person's feelings...
Itachi: Peaceful, orange/red
Madara: Anger, blue
Sasuke: Neutral/conflicted, purple
So it would make sense for Madara's Susano'o to be blue, and if that theory is correct, Sasuke's Susano'o color might've changed to red/orange.

I'm pretty sure that in Japan, blue is the color of destruction. So it fits well imo

well I know that blue flame is the hottest type of flame, but idk I just think a red susanoo looks better on Madara visually, regardless of symbolism.
that's just me though
isn't blue supposed to represent sadness though?

i dont have favorite character but i will say what i hate in them
ps dont flame me it is just my opinion and also i dont hate these character but that what i hate in how they develop
1.naruto
nly one element heck even konohamaru have more than element than him techinque nothing original expect fuuton rasen shuriken always get beaten by sakura and always run after sakura love even though she dont love him
2.sasuke:techiques nothing original expect kirin always wants somebody to guide him in choosing what he should do in life and the proof he want answers from the hokages and anyone can easily lie to him and dont have goal like naruto
3.minato:technique nothing original and he wasnt able to continue as hokage and die at young age and he is called yellow flash but he was later when his students die
4.itachi:he shouldnt have to choose to kill his entire clan there were another answer to solve about uchiha betrayal than killing them
5.madara:didnt kill anyone just sitting and doing nothing i hope he start doing something next chapter
6.sakura:later power development no personality development heck hinata a side character had a personality development before sakura a main character always sasuke making fake smile and technique nothing original
7.neji:die and his character could developed more but i understand it was necessary for hinata personality development
8.obito:he give up on his dreams easily for 13 years old girl dont tell me that it wasnt because of her because until the last moment before the juubi took over his body he was thinking about her
