I'm deciphering the new apocalypse, if worth it to bear
Like the cycle of human consciousness, and the birth of despair
I'll keep searching for things uncertain, and work on what's there;
Because what hurts another person, ain't concern for what's fair.
There's no truth here; there's only perspective...
...and the hopes for the new year are slowly neglected..
Lonely, rejected; evolution of open godlessness,
Happy New Years, shattered resolutions and broken promises.
Black clouds cast-down; the world is teeming with hopelessness.
I'm just one of the weathered souls, showing signs of previous ownership.
Mischevious openness, reeks of devious showmanship,
I have found that without faith.., it's easiest to cope with it.
But still I had a hard time believing you could all be that hollow
It's not the shepherd whom bothers me, it's those sheep that follow..
Feeding the disease, breeding a greed that swallows;
And you think you've got these demons deceived, but I know,
Your comprehension is weak and shallow.
So you can either continue to embrace all of the false glamor;
Or come join my side; and be the nail that breaks the hammer.
