Nagato's role as a summon

People talked about what role Itachi will play as a summon, but what about nagato? im curious to see what kind of impact he will have on the war. if this has been already discussed, please let me know. im new to this, so i apologize for any mistakes

This is my own personal feeling. I think pain is to strong to be controlled by another strong person. He might even bring back himself to life. (This is far fetched but it could happen)
But the chance are slim.

no that cant happen kabuto explained that they are under his control. some summons have there memories but kabuto control there bodies. wishful thinking but nagato isnt bringing himself back to life. on top of that he coudnt even walk on his own two feet. im curoius to see what hes gonna do

yeaaa the nagato b4 the pains cud walk and use any jutsu he wanted, but im wit u on the not bringin himself back to life part lol thts jus absurd

I don't know about him having any specific role beyond just being a powerful asset to Kabuto, though... maybe he'll be used to do something like revive the Zetsu army once everyone is worn out from the battle? I dunno, just seems like a move that could be expected in the Naruverse.

well konan did say he controls life and death since hes the seventh pain and he who controls the rinnengan is the master of all paths of pain and he lives outside life and death so maybe nagato will do something that might surprise us i mean he did turn good and bring back to people he killed and that surprised me ha so you never know what might happen

it was nagato that was revived the "pain(s)" were those six bodies he would control from a distance.
