Nagato's Rinnengan were Madara's eyes and Tobi IS Izuna.

Now that I think about it, it could be a possibility, Tobi told Konan that he gave Nagato his Rinnengan right? And Madara awakened the Rinnengan shortly before his "death" even though nobody knows when that truly was. Madara brought up the fact he knew who Nagato was after he was Edo'd back, so it could be a strong possibility that Izuna was alive still and transplanted his dead brothers Rinnengan in to a young Nagato, explaining why he had it in the first place and Tobi claims they were his to begin with. Edo Madara has them simply because that's the way he was before he died.

Though I could be wrong, it's speculation, but it makes a lot of sense to me.

I don't think so, Madara himself claimed in the most recent chapter that his brother died way back.

Very plausible theory, i agree with the fact that madara gave nagato the rinnegan but i'm not sure tobi is izuna...

He said his brother died not was dead. He forgot to mention the part where he was revived with the outer path.

Perhaps it is true that izuna is tobi but we are unsure.
We do not know much about the abilities of zetsu, especially black zetsu,
because if zetsu can revive dead peoples to life than that means Tobi is revived by black zetsu.
But still why would he ask nagato to revive him with "Rinne rebirth jutsu",
hmm perhaps zetsu did not revive him well, I mean he did not made his body with flesh and blood,but with a substance that is melting or something, that's why tobi's hand was melting when he was fighting the fourth hokage
the same thing happened when he fought danzo's elite guards remember.
And another proof is that kabuto said that he could not revive only uchiha shisui and jiraiya, than why did't izuna show up as an edo person?
My guess is that tobi might be izuna(65%), obito(50%) and kagami uchiha(45% coz I don't know his identity).
But I don't think that Tobi is a character that has never appeared.

izuna is 0%. madara said ALL IZUNA LEFT BEHIND WERE HIS EYES WHICH BECAME MADARA'S EYES. geez. madara said he could have taught hashirama izanami/whatever the dead rising ability is. if madara cant revive himself then obviously izuna cant either. madara can no longer "rise from the dead". probably because only hashirama could possibly use it. i mean rinnegan cant be TAUGHT. so how could madara teach it to hashi?

maybe there is more then the rinnegan method .... and all facts points to izuna...so many blind people
