Nagato's eyes origins

A sharingan evolves in a rinnegan, right? then I'm really wondering how Nagato activated his Rinnegan without ever having had a sharingan?
It must have been implanted eye's with a trigger (like stress, anger,despair) those eye's had the Rinnegan unlocked before or else it would be impossible for Nagato to unlock it bcs he had no sharingan.

i think he inserted his DNA in nagato,so that nagato received uchiha blood and therefore awakened rinnegan.i think it was the same when EMS madara fought with hashirama.he inserted hashi`s DNA in his body,therefore awakening rinnegan.senju+uchiha is SO6P(rinnegan):shrug::ice:
