I know many people are speculating about "Madara couldn't give Nagato his eyes, it's a plot hole due to the timeline, FFFUUUU..." etc.
But why do they (you?) think that "gave" nessesarily means "transplanted"? Let's see what we know:
1) Transplanted eyes (sharingan, rinnegan) are not capable of being turned off. The're constantly active.
2) We've seen Nagato with his eyes not-awakened during his childhood. We've seen him awakening them in manga.
3) How do you see transplanting fully grown-up man's eyes into the little child's skull? The're not matching the socket's size
4) And here we can see that Madara and Nagato look pretty familiar:
So, why saying that it's a direct change, implanting one's eyes to another man? Why can't he be his son, for example?
Hashirama's wife was Uzumaki. Sure we don't have any info about Madara's private life, but why shouldn't allmighty Head of the Uchiha have his one lineage?
