Lol when do you find the time to make up such opinionated facts? THe last time i checked Nagato won his fight against Jiraiya.

Lol using that to say Jiraiya is better is the worst argument ever. Yeah he does say that but that does not mean Jiraiya is better. One of the best parts about Nagato's Jutsus are the difficulty of figuring them out. You can say that for any character yes if Nagato knew all Jiraiya's weaknesses then he would have been dead in half the time. Face the facts Kishi wrote the battle and Nagato won end of story Nagato won.

If Jiraiya knew the secrets behind Pain. Jiraiya would have won. It's not that hard to understand. Don't be arrogant, you know Jiraiya would defeat Nagaot/Pain if he knew the secrets. The only reason Nagato won was because of the secret he had. Don't bring this whole shit about the author writing the story when you clearly have NO facts, no evidence, and no information to back up your claims so you run to the author writing the story. Pathetic. Jiraiya > Itachi > Nagato. Nuff said. Go cry to Kishi for having Nagato be so weak compared to Jiraiya.

Lol dude your the perfect example of a clear fanboy who has to start making fun of anyone who opposes your character. Seriously just because one character says something does not make it true. This has been shown throughout the whole Naruto series. All your stating is that if Jiraiya had the upper hand by knowing all Pains secrets then he would have won. Can you say DUH! any character with perfect info on the opponent could take on someone else. It has been shown many times where intel NOT POWER wins the fight. You can say the same exact thing for Nagato if he knew all Jiraiyas weaknesses then he would have obliterated him. But they went into the fight with very little prior knowledge making it a fair fight. Im sorry that you hate Nagato for killing Jiraiya but get over it hes dead and Nagato killed him.

IF Jiraiya knew the secrets to pain, Jiraiya would win the fight. I don't hate Nagato for killing Jiraiya, it's meant to happen, I'm not angry or anything, the only thing bothering me is loser fanboys like you that ASSUME everything that Nagato is god. Jiraiya can beat Nagato, Naruto beat him, Itachi perma beat him. And yet so many thread son Nagato being godlike and could destroy anyone.
He is so godlike why is he permanetly sealed by Itachi?

First off ive posted why Jiraiya could win if he knew his secrets like 3 times read my posts. Then you lost all cred. when you said Naruto and Itachi both beat him. Uhhh what manga are you reading? If i remember correctly Naruto was on the ground with metal chakra rods through his limbs. Are you by any chance saying that Nagato couldnt have killed him right there? Also do you not remember that he had just destroyed the WHOLE village so he could not use his deva path for the beginning of the fight. THe only reason Naruto is alive is the simple fact that he contains the 9 tails in him so Nagato needed him alive to extract the 9 tails. THen you said Itachi beat him. Well the last time i checked there was 2 other extremely powerful people in that fight who were on Itachis side. One happened to be the main character who possesses the 9 tails and the other was Bee who possesses the 8 tails and is extremely powerful. With their COMBINED efforts they managed to destroy chibaku tensei and seal Nagato.

Lol Exactly. Pain made a statement that he's God and everybody hopped on that bandwagon. If he's Godlike how did he lose to a Sage Mode Naruto who is about 10X Stronger/ Faster now with Kyuubi Chakra. I hate how when people support a character they are automatically a "fanboy". I guess I'm one too since I believe Itachi is stronger than Nagato and can beat Nagato. Nagato may have a more powerful Dojutsu but Itachi would beat him in a 1 on 1 fight.

Lol uhh just to point this out theres one flaw with your statement. Naruto in Sage mode did not beat Pain but instead he transformed in 8 tails. Also Nagato dominated Naruto while he was in Kyuubi cloak so whats your point?

How is that a flaw. Naruto raged into the 9 tails ONLY during Planetary devastation. After Minato re sealed it his seal Naruto fought Deva path in SAGE Mode...
My overall point is that everybody has gotten a lot stronger since that point in time, and that Itachi is stronger and smarter than Nagato. Itachi broke out of an Edo Tensei jutsu, broke the Rinnegan link with the eyes of the summons with his kunai. Figured out a weakness in Nagato's strongest attack in a matter of seconds. Come on, how can you not say Itachi wasn't stronger than Nagato.

Im not saying that he isnt but you cant say that Itachi would automatically win in a fight. He needed Bees and Narutos best moves in order to break Chibaku Tensei. He is better at strategy but he has less chakra reserves so it would be a close battle. Also for the Naruto fight Nagato won the fight he simply needed Naruto alive and that didn't work out so well for him. All he had to do was put another metal chakra rod through his heart and bam no more main character lol

Itachi didn't "beat" Nagato. Itachi Orochimaru'd Nagato. He off-paneled the summons' eyes and Nagato's arm. And then skewered Nagato like a shish kebab in between panels after saving Naruto and Bee.
HOWEVER, I am fully aware that there were mitigating circumstances, and that it wasn't a true and replicable victory, but still, I cannot pancake believe Nagato fans are still insisting Nagato's in a different tier altogether.
Especially when they ignore opposing mitigating circumstances, like an immediate Chibaku Tensei, Itachi's obligation to save Naruto and Bee, Nagato being sucked up in his own Chibaku Tensei, etc.
Plot no Jutsu works both ways, and people are ignoring that when convenient. Nagato was freaking armless and without summons while two living blitz-kings, Itachi and Naruto, were chatting.

Im not saying that hes in his own tier like the person who made this thread. Im simply defending him from people that say Naruto and Jiraiya can beat him. A 1 v 1 fight with Itachi would be close and well never know who would win that fight.
yea even kishi puts them in the same tier when they introduce both of them and calls them the "strongest akatsui members" when they are introduced in edo tensei i agree both would have a close battle

Yeah they both acknowledged each others powers when they say combined they could have done anything. But now that Nagatos gone for good well never know who would win it would be a long close fight.
