When you come to think of it, this guy was undefeated throughout the story. Even when he was under the control of kabuto it took Naurto (Sage Mode ) Bee & Itachi to take him out with only one eye.

The only one to surpass Nagato will be Naurto that's a fact.

kinda weird that Itachi did ALL the work to defeat Nagato. Itachi saved both that of Naruto and Killer Bee's lives, and figured how to defeat the technique, blinded the summons and destroyed Nagato twice, the first with Amaterasu, if it were not for him being an Edo he would be dead, and when Susanoo destroyed his arm, he would be defeated easily. I'm not taking sides but Nagato was insane but Itachi is superior sorry.

i agree kind of hes definitley the most powerful character ever featured in the manga but i think naruto will surpass him and seeing as sasuke is always on par with him him too+Madara will possibly surpass him if he masters the rinnegan as much as Nagato

1.Itachi Amateseru Nagato from behind when kabuto didnt know Itachi was on there side so thats not fair
2.Destroyed his arm while Kabuto was foccused on Naruto and Bee after Kabuto realised this he got Nagato to do a celestial tera sphere.
3.Ill give credit where its due he blinded the summons,worked out Celestial tera sphere and saved them but using that to say Itachi would win in a 1v1 is riddiclous +Nagato took ages to even shinra tensei amateseru the flames of him because Kabuto is a noob if it was just nagato you know he would be spamming shinra tensei

I agree that sasuke will be at least as strong as naruto, but the match won't be so one-sided that naruto destroys sasuke or sasuke destroys naruto.

If itachi was nagato's only opponent there is no way itachi could win. Kabuto even stated it himself that it was his mistake in overestimating nagato's mobility which is why nagato was sealed. Naruto's clone defeated muu, but im not so blind to say that he didn't have help. Whereas you are saying itachi would have defeated nagato regardless of whether killer bee or naruto were there. Nagato never even tried to attack itachi except for chibaku tensei which was aimed at all three of them, and there is no way itachi would have gotten out of that alone.

Lol wherever there is a Nagato post the Itachi fanboys follow fast. People need to not post useless threads that try to create an argument that can't be solved. People need to face the fact that we will probably never know who will win this fight so stop making up random stuff trying to prove others wrong. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and since we haven't seen them fight we won't know who wins. Personally Itachi and Nagato are my favorite characters but some of the fans of each are just ridiculous.

Um, he was talkign about Jiraiya, if Jiraiya knew the truth behind Pain during their fight. Jiraiya would have defeated Nagato. Jiraiya > Itachi > Nagato
