Chibaku tensei just smashes you? It compresses you into a mini moon. It was enough to restrain a 6 tailed naruto, by gravitational force alone. If sasuke hits the moon he is dead, there should be no questions about it. Also it took a TBB, Rasenshuriken and a Yasaka magatama to break it, nothing sasuke has in his arsenal has that kind of force.

You have a point with the links. I honestly don't know what to say about it. Yes they do look the same, but since he never went through with the technique I guess we will never know for sure. I guess arguments could be made both ways and it just depends on your opinion. But TBH even if he did hit the moon with a kirin like the one he prep'd for itachi I still don't know if it would be strong enough to break it.

Anyway Chibaku Tensei is Nagato's trump card anyway so it's not like it would come straight out. There are alot of other factors that would play a role in this battle but ultimately Nagato has Sasuke outclassed. I still say Nagato wins mid difficulty

There was still alot of amaturasu needed to create enough heat for the clouds, they were also burning for a while. It also took a huge fire element technique directly into the atmosphere to generate the required heat/ clouds. But like I said above, kirin may not even be enough to break the chibaku tensei moon.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The only people who have a reasonable chance of beating Nagato are Tobi, Kabuto(with edo's) and current Madara. Bm Naruto has a chance but his limit is 5 mins atm, Harishirama would loose, wood style isn't taking down Nagato it's easily countered by petra path let alone shinra/chibaki tensei.

Kirin maybe but he would have to devote some serious chakra to setting it up. After he would be empty and Nagato would kill him anyway. Susanoo arrows wouldn't be powerful enough. Magatama i'm not sure sasuke has ever used.

Regardless he can't pull off more than 1 of these at once so either way he dies from Chibaku tensei or after it since he as no chakra left

Kirin doesnt require that much chakra, it only takes one fire jutsu to set up the clouds and kirin doesnt take any chakra at all, the only reason he was out of chakra vs itachi was because he used oral rebirth which takes ALOT of chakra

Amaterasu has a limit area to be get launched(0-5M). So it can't go in the air. Also Kirin needs too much preparation and can only be shot once. CT attracks someone too quickly that Sasuke will not even be able to have to time to prepare all that. He will get raped.
